Think the thing with pizza that makes it so special is that the textures within it are spot on. You get the crispiness, the right consistency of chewiness, you have the moisture from the tomato and cheese and when you bite into it you get a lovely combination of flavours in one go.
Also helps...
Another film that didn't get good reviews but I really like is Snake Eyes with Nicholas Cage, about a cop on the take. I am a fan of the director, Brian DePalma though so I think that helped.
Not so sure about Jaws, but Apocalypse Now definitely did get a real slating.
Jaws and the Shawshank Redemption are now considered to be amongst the best films of all time.
It IS blue, red and yellow.
I have Romanian lodgers renting a room here at the moment and they are using their national flags for curtains and bedspreads and rugs.
Sheff Utd always balls it up, so I don't mind them signing anyone.
Even if they had Bale, Ronaldo, Messi, Boateng and Muller they would still only finish 7th.
So who would you like to see next year? Realistic suggestions only of course. ;)
Bands/artists that might just come to the Godiva.
Off the top of my head, Polyphonic Spree, Squeeze, Mott the Hoople, Ed Harcourt, Clearlake, the Bees.
Just caught the Three Amigos on Sky Movies and laughed my socks off at times. First time I have seen it in about 20 years.
I remember when it came out I liked it, but it got a bit of a critical slamming. Watching it this morning I feel it has got better with age and I am also led to believe...
