    Willis to Luton?

Footballers are generally ambitious types who want to play at the highest level. Le Tiss is obviously a saints club legend but if he took the chance he’d have played for england a lot more. Shearer has said himself that he regrets not going to Man Utd when he had the chance.

    Willis to Luton?

Willis could have left when we were relegated to League 2. He stayed, as far as I’m concerned he’s done his time and at 24 you’re about to hit your best years Luton can offer more money, are a more stable club and in a higher division. He can either play Championship football now or stay at us...

Who are we cheering in the playoffs?

Sunderland or Pompey - the one that doesn’t come up this season won’t fail next season so it takes a promotion place away. You got to think Rotherham and Ipswich will be there or there abouts next season but I don’t think they’ll be better than Sunderland or Pompey

Best Cov Goalie to play in League 1

Shouldn’t this have been “2nd best goalkeeper” - I mean there’s no real debate as to the best one in league one

Would encourage self sustaining. Although not sure that practice of banning loans would be legally allowed. Didn’t say gifts wouldn’t be allowed.

    Bolton Troubles

Is it at all possible to prevent loans to football clubs? That would weed out potential owners who plough in loans to be repaid with high interest?

    Bolton Troubles

Problem is fit and proper is objective. What is Fit and proper? And playing devils advocate, why are SISU in the eyes of law and EFL Rules improper? To us they are, but business-wise they’re only guilty of reducing our overheads, The stadium dispute is the main issue, but given how poor the...

Sunderland fans forum - post match

I like how they refer to teams that have won more than them in the past 30/40 years as tin pot serious delusion there it’s like because you’ve got a big stadium you’re automatically too big to be in the league. At what point do they realise that they’re behaviour started all this

    Keeper

I was so gutted when he left, he got sent off on debut if I remember.

Whilst I massively criticise Burge - he is due a blinder (aswell as a blunder)

I’m sure he played the first few games in Division 1.

    Goal margins/Goalscoring

Thomas for me is a class player but his finishing highlights as to why he’s on loan at us and not playing first team for Derby. I’ve no doubt he’ll play at the highest level if he sorts out his finishing

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

I don’t mind a medium term deal with wasps, as long as our value to them is recognised. Any increase in costs should grant us talks with regards to naming rights. I’m not saying we should be give a big proportion but it has to be acknowledged that our name will bring more to them then they admit

    Walsall

Ironically we could be supporting them... need them to take points off Peterborough

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

Any increase is fine as long as our value is recognise by way of revenue - we should get a cut of any future sponsorship deal aswell

    Bright Enobakhare

Of course! How can I forget the checkatrade - one of my favourite games... Leon Clarke was marginally offside. And the Doyle screamer - didn’t that put us top of the league? Before losing to Bristol City and going on the downwards slope
