If Simms and BTA both go, which although some have said isn't happening, even Saddle has now said looks possible. What level to you think we'd look at for essentially the 'second choice' striker? If you think someone better than Riis then fair play, that would be nice. Not sure I can see it though.

That is true.

Hard to judge a league 2 player as the gap between Championship and there is enormous. Not many move league 2 to Championship directly.

He's better than Simms at pretty much everything.

I'm interested to see how Lampard plays it, whether he thinks Bobby and Kitch are his starters again or we'll go all in on another starting quality CB. I'm not sure which way that will go personally. A better LB and competent keeper from the start will help a lot.

We'll look to improve anywhere we can and i'd genuinely be staggered if that doesn't include the centre forward position. I think we'll sign more players than many predict and we'll see a few move on too.

We did think that last summer tbf but yes i'd have to agree. There are 2 or 3 there (Hamer included) who probably gave them a year to get back up but will now be agitating for a move.

My Gran is more mobile than Simms and she passed last year. I don't think it's accurate that he scored more than Simms though, which again is saying something. As you say anyway, they appear to be in talks about keeping him.. not sure too many of their fans see that as an ambitious move. Maybe...
