The best we played in the championship IMO was the first real season back (RICHO + crowds). Maatsen and Dabo holding the width, O'Hare and Hamer in the middle and mcfazden at the back (who was a better footballer than he got credit for) and of course Godden and Vic up top.

Every appointment is a roll of the dice, if it's Frank he'd get my full backing. Hopefully he can get some lads in from the Chelsea bomb squad in on loan 😅

Sakamoto played great in the 10 role I thought. I hope he starts there again tbh, he is a busy little bastard who picks up great positions. His off the ball work is fantastic, real proactive stuff which we have lacked of late.

I was certain we'd at least draw and confident of a win. Best performance of the season, and at the right time. A poor start but all is not lost. Hopefully this is the catalyst.
