    2 in 10

On CWR yesterday they said we got 19 points from first ten games and 14 from the second ten. A massive step up from last year. Should’ve beaten blues but aside from that and the shitshow at Luton there aren’t many other results I can complain about

    Id drop Gyok

Spot on. Perspective has disappeared for some recently. Moaners then hide behind the ‘we just want to see us do better’ line. However if they were there watching us in an empty stadium struggling in L1 and then in L2 they’ll know how far we’ve come in a relatively short space of time. We all...

There is no doubt fuck ups were made/will be made but that’s from the government, PHE and the NHS. A lot of what the opposition, media, commentators, me, you and everyone else has said or thought has also been proven to be wrong at some stage I’ve said all along let’s wait until we get through...

No, you’re right, him and another player. Surprised when Robins said nobody appealed. It was maybe a bit after the event though, goal had been given Ps even a couple of baggies mates said it was handball. Unlucky. Used to shit officials and today’s were no different

Need some intensity. Too casual in possession. Reminds me of Bristol City first half. Hopefully we’ll have a repeat of the second

Exactly. Fernando’s post is also correct. We have such a high proportion of the population double jabbed so numbers reported will be skewed. More importantly, as you say, it’s about stopping severe illness. It still frustrates me that we don’t have clearer communication from NHS/PHE/Gov on...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It will be a genuine point relating to economy but that’s why I mention comparing against comparable countries. When I say disruption I’m talking about health, restrictions etc

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That’s why I mentioned comparably. Economy is usually top of people’s list when voting. Covid might rival it this coming election although hoping it will be long gone in terms of disruption 🤞

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I do agree it’s another issue to lump on the ‘one rule for one’ pile. With regard to brexit, I was really talking about how the economy is doing generally (it’s just that it’s now post Brexit). If we’re in the shit and it’s impacting peoples lives: jobs, inflation etc, and is worse than other...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Of course it matters Faz. But the question should’ve been will it change your voting intentions ? Also will it matter by the next election ? For me it will be irrelevant, compared to the stuff on certain nhs pandemic contracts (to be determined), how the country is fairing economically post...

I think Scotland are only just allowing negatives as an alternative from next week. Irrelevant for us...for now anyway ! 🤞

I agree but as I say if the primary reason for vaccine passports is to suppress transmission in venues, they could offer negative test option as well. In some countries if you’ve recently recovered from Covid that’s seen/treated the same as being jabbed, which again feels sensible to me. I’m...

A lot of this is correct ESB, as was Tony’s post. From what I’ve read the likelihood of catching it is reduced if you’re double/triple jabbed, so it helps slow the spread but many vaccinated people will still get it This and NWs article is why vaccine passports dont really work for me other...

    Migrants crossing from Europe

It’s a good response to be fair. However, they either need help or are intentionally ignoring traffickers putting migrants in dinghies and ultimately some are dying in the channel. It’s one or the other It personally accept the help and try to find a joint solution to managing the problem better.

It’s all very strange at best...dodgy at worst. Wouldn’t trust Hancock as far as I could throw him.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

He’s such a smug wanker …even worse on video 😂 I need to go back and listen to that call though as I heard JoB briefly after and he wasn’t too harsh on the landlord guy If hancock has been up to no good I think he should be sent down (obviously won’t happen). He should’ve got in far more...

Yeah, they’ll be some good, efficient systems but unfortunately there are also some poor, almost dangerous ones. As I’ve mentioned Im all for phone appointments, especially in current stretched times but some things are obviously going to need face to face

Yeah, I think so. I ended up going to an optometrist (who was very worried but couldn’t prescribe medication) who gave me a letter and advised me to go to emergency eye clinic immediately. All of which would’ve costs the NHS How was a doctor ever going to be able to inspect my eye over the...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

To be fair to Nick I think his issue is that some GPs are willing to do the jabs (face to face obviously) but many didn’t/don’t want standard face to face appointments. I appreciate what Fernando said about his daughter, which is great, but every GP surgery is run differently and some (mine...
