I'm increasingly concerned at how often I agree with Grendel recently but this is spot on. SISU's plan worked perfectly apart from the fact that after distressing ACL someone else nipped in and got it on the cheap before SISU. If we had of kept paying the ridiculously high rent this wouldn't...

    Difference Between Articles

Matty, I do work with 2 London based companies who have a working relationship with ACL, staff at both companies have been offered free tickets. There's been several posts from people on here who have been offered free tickets. If they've trying to paper the crowd to bump up the attendance...

Wasps likely to beat Aviva Premiership attendance record

The 3,500 figure being thrown around is just the ones that have gone to kids. There's loads more freebies floating around not to mention all the companies who have any association with the Ricoh or Wasps have been given discount codes to distribute to all their staff.

    Letter from Pressley (Email)

Totally agree with you Grendel but I'm sure that won't stop those who seem enamoured with Wasps pointing out how fantastic their attendances are over and over again. Think it will be next season that will be the real indication. Imagine there will be a lot less tickets floating around by then...

    Dressing rooms not a drama

From what he's saying one room is now just for Wasps (which used to be our room) and another room is just for us (the new one) and then there's a neutral away room. Won't they need to add a second neutral room for use at other events. Wasn't that the whole point of not having our branding all...

    Dressing rooms not a drama

Depends if he was prompted or not. If he's asked what he thinks of the dressing room situation he's not likely to start having a pop at Wasps is he? Don't think the dressing room itself will be an issue, assuming its of a decent standard, not being able to use the warm up area is a bigger downside.

A giant Wasp at the Ricoh

Surely in this day and age there could be system in place where the tunnel was Wasps branded for their games and changed when we are playing there.

CCFC Merchandise - "Look what you could have won"

Same here, when I get to games early I'd go in the shop and inevitably end up buying some junk I didn't really need. Between that a purchase or two off the website I'd probably spend at least £200 a year. Now there's nothing on the website and no shop at the ground so they've not had a penny out...

    Ricoh Arena Pitch

If it doesn't bed in properly what are we looking at. Will we just have a pitch as bad as it had been so far this season or will it be unplayable?

    An even better week

How come they were playing a French team at Wycombe? What happened to they need a new stadium as they can't play European games there?

    Port Vale Match Thread

The usual really, I don't know if its just his personality but you really wouldn't notice the difference if CWR replayed an old post match interview one week! Happy with the clean sheet and how they defended, need to take more chances, good group of lads, work hard, good attitude etc.

SP sounds more upset today than he does when we lose!

Knowing our luck we'll finally get a decent run going and all the loan players will go back to their own clubs in Jan and we will be left to build a new team or play even more kids!

    Port Vale Match Thread

got home late and only caught the last 15 mins, sounds like a better performance today. Now we need to build on it and get a decent run of form running. Don't think we'll get near the play offs before people start getting carried away but lets get into the winning habit.

    club shop a joke

Thought occurs to me that in a worse case scenario we could end up with 2 relatively new stadiums in Coventry not being used. If we move out and try and finance a new ground there is a risk it could be unsustainable and be the end of the club at some point down the line, at the same time us...

    A good week

That's exactly how it feels to me. Like it not the Ricoh was built for us and to our design. Yes, I agree, because of the situation we ended up in there wasn't too much that made it feel like ours. The one thing we always had was that 50% was being held for us by Higgs and at some point, maybe...

    club shop a joke

Posted this on the other thread before I realised it was being discussed in here. I can't work out if that article is genuine or a piss take! Assuming it is genuine a couple of things that may have passed them by, the Amex cost over £90m and if memory serves me correctly didn't the owner put...

Waggott and Fisher seen window shopping

I can't work out if that article is genuine or a piss take! Assuming it is genuine a couple of things that may have passed them by, the Amex cost over £90m and if memory serves me correctly didn't the owner put about £20m in and fund the rest interest free? Liberty Stadium was cheaper I think...

    club shop a joke

Even if they were totally incompetent and couldn't come up with any ideas there's 90+ identical businesses they can pinch ideas off. I can't believe they are that incompetent so it can only be that they are restricted by lack of finance.

This should be the response to Fisher next time he gives the revenue line.
