This is probably a better test of the new rules than Bahrain, and so far on the whole you'd have to say they're working well.

It is. They say the car has potential, but it's looking like it's hard to get it in the right window. I don't doubt there's pace in it somewhere, but doesn't seem they can unlock it fully.

This circuit really isn't safe. It's way too fast for how close the walls are, they need to slow it down in places. I know they want to advertise it as the fastest street circuit, but that's no good if its a bloody death trap. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the drivers ask for more...

No idea, could be the Mercedes engine requires a certain set up to run, could be just down in power. Could even be the new E10 fuel is causing them problems. That's a nasty one for Mick schumacher, hope he's OK.

If it is engine, they've got a massive problem. They're stuck with it until 2025 now.

If that's the case, then it's not about who wins this race or not. It's about making sure everyone who's there gets out safely. The maddening thing is the sport will learn absolutely nothing from this. They'll be back next year because the money is more important to them that run it.
