He is a pretty good shot stopper. His command of the area is poor though and he dithers and flaps a lot. Seems very unsure of himself.
RCC of course is quite the opposite and if anything, over confident, but he is much the better keeper in my book. Most other people's as well.
Well yeah, true. If it was out of RCC, Stokes or Vincelot, I would go for Vincelot too.
As has been said here, neither Fleck or Vincelot were particularly quick, maybe we are looking for a bit more pace in the midfield.
Interesting comments from Kieran Crowley.
I alluded to this too that maybe TM wanted to go in a different direction.
This could have been the plan all along, have players lined up and the minute Vincelot is sold the players he does want come in, come in.
Let's give the manager a chance to...
Well they are when TM hasn't come out and said 'that's it, no more players joining the club!'
If he said that I could understand a bit more consternation, but he hasn't. As it stands we have players lined up apparently.
The least we can do is to wait and see if these deals actually happen and...
I as gutted when I heard Vincelot was on his way, as he was one of my favourite City players, but then you just have to give yourself a clear head and believe there must be method to the madness.
Surely the time to moan is if in selling Vincelot now we don't then adequately replace him in time...
I think it is absolutely fine to be disappointed that Vincelot has gone, but can we at least give the manager time to bring someone else in before we are all a-wailing and gnashing of teeth?
How do we know someone isn't lined up right now and it was just a case of waiting until Vincelot was...
Is he?
News to me that. Always had him down as quite attack minded, rather than defensive.
If that's right, then fine. Just always had him down as an attacking midfielder.
