Match Thread Sunderland vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Nov

6-0 Sunderland - us to have a 1000 shots, Lee Burge has a blinder and saves all of them, Willis and McNulty to score hattricks with Sunderland’s 6 shots on goal

Depends what the deal is really. We can’t just stay if the club don’t benefit.

    Prince Andrew

Doesn’t he have royal privilege? I’m sure they’re exempt from the law. they should just disband the royals - no need for it in modern society

Back at the Ricoh in January

Not really - you brought up the wage bill, I’d say that point was very relevant to point out that they started to reduce the wage bill

They took over in 2007... the protests didn’t start until we let Gunarsson, King Westwood go on a free and replaced them with Chris Dunn and Joe Murphy which was 2011

More than likely yes. But if the Ricoh sale is above board then it never affects Wasps. If it isn’t then deal itself should have been scrutinised. in hindsight SISU should have got one of the fans to issue the complaint.

Back at the Ricoh in January

And I’ve had this argument a number of times before. No it wasn’t - hence why the wage bill was savagely cut leading to our relegation to League One. it was about that time the SISU OUT started because of investment in the team.. you can’t have it both ways - either the wage bill rises or you...

    Disney plus

I mean I have sky sports - but it’s part of a decent package I have. With my daughter being 1 and obsessed with Peppa Pig... hardly get to watch it movie-wise & show-wise it’s Netflix, and as @Otis says - prime is decent

    More Wasps BS?

Nobody diverts attention from SISU. They need to go. The PR has been shocking, they invested poorly at the beginning, hired Chris Coleman. Thus running up further debt. they’ve already stated that they wouldn’t have bought the club. nobody has ever stated they’re blameless. You use the same...

Thing is Disney own pretty much everything on sky. Disney+ and Netflix pretty much everything I need to watch

    Disney plus

I really want Disney plus... I’ll be ditching sky as soon as it’s out

So has anyone managed to circumnavigate their way around the country blocker? really want to watch the mandalorian

    More Wasps BS?

No the club can’t move on even if SISU sell up... nobody bangs the SISU drum most people recognise they’ve bollocked up. But as noted in the courts might I add - they were in on the rent strike idea and now they’ve taken catastrophic action out of spite. that’s all in the past. But going...

    More Wasps BS?

We’ve already agreed that that moment was a massive reason why were at the situation we have now. We’re trying to look forward now... that means the long term aim of leaning on SISU but to keep us going we need to be at the Ricoh short term. you talk of woodlands as a made up story, my point...

    More Wasps BS?

Thing is, considering that the complaint is a look into state aid. If it’s found it is illegal then the council have bigger problems as to how an asset was undersold. I’m sure the public would be seriously pissed at that. Also if I’m not mistaken, if the lease reverts back. Then the issue is...
  16. H

    More Wasps BS?

No but can’t really see the council helping SISU out in the immediate future. I’d imagine it’d be a starting point towards better negotiations
  17. H

    More Wasps BS?

If wasps go bust the lease reverts back to the council
  18. H

    More Wasps BS?

it’s more than likely that it gets handed back to the council and SISU go back cap in hand for a rental deal which more than likely sends us back just before the rent strike - only doubtful it’ll be 1.2 million. best we can hope for in the circumstances
  19. H

    More Wasps BS?

I mean they’re looking at woodlands. However the council aren’t supportive. But that’s only if you believe the new stadium rumours. if you’re a bit dense like you appear to be - the actual way out of this is keeping the club running until Wasps cave. But we’ll leave that to the actual fans

    More Wasps BS?

I mean a lot of our fans are sitting at home waiting patiently for us to die anyway. so why can’t we wait for the parasites at the Ricoh die
