I must be missing something as I'm not seeing anything that says SISU were offered the same deal as Wasps. I see Fisher saying they didn't want that offer, which may be true or may be him saving face with a touch of revisionist history but nothing to say it was actually offered.

I would make one suggestion. If the subject of Wasps first game comes up compare it to Gillingham rather than Fleetwood!

I did, don't see anything there that indicates CCC & Higgs offered the same deal to CCFC they offered to Wasps.

So are you saying CCC didn't offer CCFC the same deal as Wasps before selling it to them? That's the question I want answer. That's it, not who said what before or after.

That's why I've long said the type of deal Wasps have been given is the ideal solution. CCC retain the freehold but CCFC, or now Wasps, have effective ownership and all the income. Terms could be put in the deal that say, for example, ACL and CCFC must remain in the same company.

When did CCC offer them that deal?

They've paid £5.6m for a 250 year lease, I think it was said CCFC are less than 10% of ACL's revenue so on that basis £2,240 a year should be a fair price for CCFC to get all the money they generate. Think they'll agree to that?

Simple solution, CCC say match Wasps offer and its yours.

Why £30m, Bournemouth built a new ground for well under £10m. That's why SISU need to present a business case. Show me that a move to a new stadium is the best proposition and I have no problem with backing it.

The casuals are a weird one to gauge. Maybe the 30K that turn up for Chelsea / JPT final / Gills game would all turn up for the first game at a new ground. If they did then it would be up to the club to retain them. Losing supporters is never good but if you for example lose 5K while gaining 10K...
