    Crewe ticket sales

My memory of the night isn't as fresh as it was, but whenever I think back to that game it generates a strong dislike for Chris Dunn. Fair?

Season ticket sales drive from SISU

To return to the original topic; TM signing a longer term deal (I'm classing two years as LT in today's football climate) and we hear from him, not a SISU mouthpiece, namely TF and/or SW, that we have a substantial wage budget (6th biggest in the league etc), ST sales would increase. Fans are...

Excuses For Not Going The Crewe Game Thread

To clarify, you've stated that even if they WERE running the club in the same way, but the team were successful, they would get your blessing? Perhaps unintentionally, but you have proved my point. It is not actually about SISU, but how successful the team are, as to whether NOPM is followed.

Excuses For Not Going The Crewe Game Thread

The club will never please some fans, regardless of price, offers etc. People will hide behind hating SISU, yet the truth is they don't want to watch a struggling League One team. Understandable but for me, if you support a team, you support a team. My pet hate are those who hide behind...

    Proschwitz

He's improving each match, not necessarily a match winner, but does offer something. I am reserving some judgement until I have seen him up front with a small, mobile, pacey forward a la Samuel. Nouble is tough and frustrating to work with as a strike partner, he drifts out to the wing, is...

    Colchester match thread

We may not be playing particularly well, but I can't remember them even having a shot or any substantial possession. Really highlights how poor this league is.

Seconded, he's the one in that team that jumps out as a threat. Interesting to see which wing they put him on - whoever he is facing, Colchester have potentially identified as a weak link.

Could be 4-4-2, 4-3-3/4-5-1, 4-2-3-1? As long as it works I'm happy.

Idiot supporters at the front ........

It is a football game and these sorts of things are expected, but I absolutely understand the point of the OP. Numerous times this season I have witnessed kids or, even worse, fully grown men, shouting constant abuse at the home fans. No interest in the game, no eyes on the pitch, but a...

    Notts County Match Thread

0-2 City. We start well, dominate and score our first at around the 20 minute mark. Spend the next 60 soaking up pressure with backs to the wall defending and finish the game with a nonchalant second, just after 80 minutes. Either that or it's a nervy, dull, hit and hope football match...

Along with a lot of idiotic cliché shouts such as 'get it forward' when there are no options in front of the player. Or 'who's that to' when the ball is lumped forward as previously requested.

I hope Turgott gets half an hour or so, an injection of pace could have an impact on the game. There right back is a centre back playing right back, and it really is evident. He needs to be exposed by people running at him with pace.

Nobody standing out, for good or bad reasons. Although the more I watch JOB, the more I believe his skillset consists of running around aimlessly and shouting at teammates.

    It's sad to say

Those that no longer go due to the poor product on show, I understand the rationale. Even if I do not necessarily agree. Those that no longer go due to other commitments, such as family, that may have become routine while the club were in Northampton, I understand. Those that hide behind...

Mine is still incredibly slow and keeps crashing when I try to open a thread, with an error message of 'This web page is not available'. I am using Google Chrome on my iPhone. It does not seem as bad when using Safari.

    Stokes

He started nervously and was skinned too easily within the first five minutes but improved as the game went on. If he was 'targeted' today as the 'obvious' weakness in the team, it wasn't evident so either a) he wasn't targeted as a weak link or b) he was defensively solid.
