Match Thread Coventry v Charlton Match Thread - Friday 14th Apr

So there is or there isn't a protest planned? If so, good to see it's been properly communicated to fans.

The truth, you can't handle the truth

Remember when everyone was panicking they wouldn't get a ticket for Wembley? Now the reality of L2 football has set in, NOPM is conveniently back in existence. Plus the main point here; less ST sales does not mean they will walk away, it just means they will give even less funds to the...

    Season ticket prices 17/18 season

Based on the fact ST sales and the revenue generated will impact SISU's strategy for the club (I use the word 'strategy' loosely), especially when it comes to finances, I would say he has at the very least discussed figures with JS or another SISU higher up.

    Season ticket prices 17/18 season

I genuinely doubt he has absolute autonomy on decision making.

    Season ticket prices 17/18 season

I agree - he probably has input and potentially presents recommendations but I doubt he has final say or any real authority.

    Season ticket prices 17/18 season

Disappointing there isn't even a gesture of good will or nominal reduction bearing in mind the division change. The PR from the club is a joke too. I'll still be getting one, but it infuriates me that they know people like me exist and as such, SISU offer no real incentive because they know...

We are never going to agree on players. I rate Bigi and Lameries, you don't. In all fairness I don't actually know who you rate. It was Beavon - he may be the exception to my previous comment?!

Ruben is so frustrating. So much talent and when he wants to play he can create chances. But when he doesn't, he adds nothing. I'd like to see DKE for Foley to add some attacking impetus. Maybe Reid off too as he's back to his start of season form.

I know this sounds a little harsh, and I think he's a great footballer, but Stevenson is a liability defensively. His work rate has been poor. Talking of liabailities, we looked much better with Stokes and Willis/DKE ahead of Foley and Clarke.

The starting XI are all our players aren't they? Interesting. Clearest indication yet he is planning, and reviewing players, for next season yet. Good idea.

2-1 win. 11k attendance. Ground full of shorts and sunglasses.

    anyone else

Being in London today made me appreciate how good Sunday was even more than I previously did. Seeing Sky Blues literally everywhere you went and everyone in great spirits singing Cov songs was such a special feeling. I know it's cliche but Sunday was literally once in a lifetime. Even if (when)...

So who's going Saturday then that wasn't before?

At those prices I'm almost tempted to invite my girlfriend so she can experience why I leave her home alone most Saturdays and come home pissed off. Almost, but not quite.

    What to do

I'm back in London today and I can confirm it's not quite the same atmosphere; not enough sky blue and too many cockney accents. I have returned to the first pub of the day from Sunday although it's actually making me feel quite sad that I haven't got the same plan today as I did last time I...

    Favourite Moment

The whole atmosphere of the day, it was a special feeling to see Coventry fans everywhere. And even more so, all in great spirits.

    What a day

Absolutely fantastic day. From getting the train and sharing beers with random Coventry fans, to bumping into numerous people we know including one of our best mates who we bumped into on Wembley way, to drinks and the buzz afterwards. Not the mention the game itself which seems an absolute blur...
