    Goal or no goal

I'm hoping that means lay the cables in the post and install the cameras on the roof and not just turn it on
  2. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Yeah it's something every team has to have in the league. Everyone coming up from L1 has to have it installed before the first game of the season. We had it last season at St Andrews and it impacted our budget to have it installed a the arena because our tinpot setup didn't even think of it...

    Penalty Shouts last Night

The Tavares one was about as clear a penalty as you'll ever see

Goalkeeper Simon Moore expected to sign according to the Bladesman.

My worry with him at the start was that he was a good shot stopper but butter fingers and would spill shots or not catch crosses. First half of the season he was immaculate at everything. Since he returned from covid he hasn’t developed bitter fingers but he’s been beaten more easily. I think...

    Goal or no goal

I'm starting to believe the Grendel slander on being a boozer might be right too as you'd have to be seeing double with all this proof. Dave, it's the ball on the left mate.

    Goal or no goal

If you look closely the defender heads it, it rolls along the line and then starts to go in slightly more. I think they have stopped it exactly when the ball is furthest over.
  7. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Then you'd need a tiny line to work out if it had actually crossed.
  8. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

    wow
  9. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

the only alternative is to go the way of other sports and go any of the ball crosses the line because that is the only other one that can be definitely proven. Most of the ball is too subjective. I think this is the right rule.
  10. Liquid Gold

    Refing

I genuinely thought that rule must have been dropped because it is never enforced.

    Refing

They definitely need to take timekeeping off them. Would cut out so much of the cynical shite and then give them less to focus on.
  12. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Then why haven't they released the still where the ball is over the line?
  13. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

If the tech failed why have they released a Hawkeye showing it not to be a goal? What are they gaining from it?
  14. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

But why have they chosen to do that instead of given the point where you think it would show a goal? What are the EFL gaining from cheating this goal away?
  15. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

And Gyokeres is given more often than not IMO
  16. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

So you reckon the EFL has chosen to only screenshot after the ball goes back in contact with the line. Why?
  17. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

And that one time they held their hands up and admitted it. Why would they lie for this? This is properly bizarre now.
  18. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Instead of the quite simple solution that the technology works and you've misinterpreted a grainy twitter video you're going to say that the EFL has purposefully doctored an image to save face on an unimportant Cov v Hull game when the goal wouldn't have changed the result?
  19. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

there is plenty to criticise this ref on that I will back to the hilt. Tavares' pen was about as clear as any I've ever seen. Focus on that not something which isn't a mistake.
  20. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Which is that the technology is working.
