English players seem to fill the same kind of role in premier teams. Good engine, tough in the tackle etc. apart from gazza I struggle to remember a genuine match changing player

Does anyone consider the fact that English players look good at club level because they are the minority in teams full of gifted foreign players. This gives them far more freedom and disguises their shortcomings. Put them all together and there is nt enough flair
