This is obviously subjective but I think they could have done more. Not least the ACL sale process, that should have been open and transparent with any interested party being able to bid on the same basis, ie: the 250 year lease.
If you go back further you can look at certain events and say...
If I was in charge at Weber Shandwick I'd be looking to employ some people who were a bit less obvious and at least made a token effort to post about the subject of the forum they were signing up to rather than just post about how fantastic Wasps are!
The link you're referring to there is only concerning tickets distributed through schools and local clubs. Many people, myself included, have been offered free tickets from other sources, there's been nothing to indicate that has changed.
Are you stating as fact that ACL paid a going rate for the additional 200 years on the lease over and above the amount previously reported for the sale of ACL to Wasps?
Given the cost of the initial lease we'd be talking about a figure of around £85m, surprised the council are keeping that...
Same with Southampton, it was the parent company and they got a points deduction. Don't see any way they are getting out of this but then we all know the FL make it up as they go along.
There was a formula price which was confidential however most people believed it to be in the region of £10m. PWKH posted on here that he couldn't confirm the exact formula but that that it was about right.
You're making it sound like the club put zero money in which wasn't the case. At the point the club took a 50% share in ACL they had put millions in to the project. Don't have the figures to hand but the amounts put in by the council and CCFC weren't that far apart from memory. Seem to recall...
The obvious point to make is that they said at the start of the season it would be a promotion push and now we're battling relegation, why? What has gone wrong and where does the blame lie and most importantly what has been done to rectify it.
Why do we have such a high turnover of players...
Guess it depends on what other options we have. I wouldn't be unhappy if we kept him for the rest of the season but if we could get Murphy back as a couple of people suggested might be not the cards then let him go back and keep Burge as back up.
At the fans forum at the start of the season, with Waggott sat next to him, SP said who comes in and who goes out is entirely his choice. I suspect Waggotts role is more the business side, agreeing terms, sorting contracts etc.
I started going in 86 so Speedie was the first big signing I remember, cracking player. Gallacher was always a favourite of mine and Ndlovu was always exciting when he got the ball. After that it was Hucks and Dion. Keane was obvioulsy a fantastic player but not really here long enough to be a...
Don't think it was a piece as such but something he posted on his facebook. Along the lines of the players didn't believe in SP and he'd spoken to someone on the staff, unnamed at the time, who confirmed that was the case.
