Not sure to be honest. I think he picked up on my thread. In an ideal world for me it would been perfect if we could have put TM on gardening leave, brought in a new manager to take us back into the play-offs and then reinstated Mowbray! :)

If that's your opinion, fine. Not going to argue the toss about it. :) I know in my own mind what I meant and what I intended and for my part there was no campaign or motive and I just wanted to see other people thoughts. I thought our only chance of making the play-offs would be if we changed...

I hope so. He seems a really decent bloke and not an arsehole, so that is always a bonus. For me he talks a lot of sense in his interviews. I also like that he wants to play football and has no qualms about throwing players forwards. Very positive in his thinking, which I also think is a bonus...

No, as I said, I just wanted to ask people if they felt that changing the manager could salvage our play-off hopes. It wasn't a thought process of mine, I was just asking what other fans thought. I didn't want him sacked, but did feel that sacking him might be the only way we would have a...

Well we will have to agree to disagree. :) I was totally behind Mowbray. I predicted 7th pre-season but then when we got in the top 6 I was predicting promotion and quite rightly so. We started slipping a bit and I still backed him. I did then say that if we slipped out of the top 6 we...

All I can say is that I have never wanted Mowbray sacked. That is true. No flip flopping at all on the matter.

Sorry, but that is complete and total bollocks. I have never wanted TM sacked. It was never my motive. Please point me to anywhere where I have said I want him sacked. The only post I said anything about the matter was when I asked that if we sacked him would it give us a better chance at the...

    Donny

I'm of course talking about when we played Doncaster. Not talking about previously. When we played Doncaster they were the worst team in the league on current form. 1 win in 17 matches.

Typical of City to blow such an opportunity and against the worst side in the division on their form of the last 15 matches or so.

You and I both know though that the normal business world and the world of football are polls apart.

Did Mowbray analyse where he was at when he failed and his teams flopped in similar fasion previously? If he did, he didn't analyse it properly I don't think. :D

So galling. Could accept a slip up today with a draw against Sheff U, but to lose at Doncaster? Well it beggars belief. It was a very tough ask to get that top 6 place, but we shoud have at least given it our very best shot.

TM certainly won't be here for a few seasons if we are still in League One the whole time. We stay in League One for the next 3 or 4 seasons and the crowds will surely dwindle. i think TM will be given one more season and it will be with the remit of a top 6 place requirement.

Most home wins in a season since 1987

Well yeah, but a very big bollocking for dropping down from 1st place and blowing an 11 point lead in the play-off places. So a cheer and a big boo at the same time.

Because I am asbsolutely not wrong at all. Not my fault you're deaf and won't listen! ;) As I have already said, we had a chance. Smiley on here was saying we had a 'good' chance. It was never a good chance and out of all the permutations needed it always looked likely that it would be City who...

Exactly! HAD we beaten Doncaster, but we didn't. As I just said, the requirement for us to win 5 games in a row was absoulutely huge. Would have expected us to come short somewhere, but against Doncaster?

And Donny are down barring the greatest miracle in the history of football. They are losing 3-1 at Crewe and will need a 12 goal turnaround to even have a chance of survival.

Yep, but one of the hardest parts of that needed equation of course was that of City winning 5 in a row and it looks like we might have blown that playing the worst team of the 5. :(
