I agree. There's a handful of good players, but a massive gap between them and the rest of the squad. Nonetheless, on paper the squad is not relegation standard.

I actually think he's more consistent in team selection (but that's gut feel alone, I'm not wasting time looking through previous selections). Either way my post wasn't defending MV, but highlighting the poor recruitment over the summer - especially in the striking department.

No matter how bad a performance a player has produced, you should never boo your own individual players. What good will ever come from it? Booing the team as a collective is fair.
