    Chris Stokes

At least Stokes is actually good at football.
  2. Great_Expectations

    Russell Slade

I thought he was the best option at the time; a manager who knew the lower leagues and had experience of being in similar situations to ours. My opinion was slightly dimmed by some people within the game who told me he was 'shocking' and 'tactically clueless', unfortunately they are being...

Help needed tomorrow pre kick off

Great idea. Fantastic to try and make use of the potentially positive feeling, or at least more excitment than usual, around tomorrow's game. It's also great to see it's about the football too, let's hope it gives the players confidence and motivation, in addition to instilling some passion. I...

    Trialist with "Big Reputation"

You should have, it would have really strengthened your point. Joking aside, I agree, we can't go into another game, especially as it's potentially the last meaningful game of the season, with no strikers on the bench. I don't think any of us want to see Rose or Jones up front again.

    Trialist with "Big Reputation"

Just to clarify; it would be a gamble to play him Tuesday?

    Goalkeepers

I've never rated Burge, he's a liability waiting to happen. I appreciate not everyone is a fan of RCC, but is by far the better keeper. His distribution alone should put him above Burge, who either waits too long to release it, or passes it straight to the opposition, or straight out of play...

    Russell Slade

I posted this in the match thread, but it's relevant here too. I was all for giving RS time etc, I thought the calls for his head were premature, but we are absolutely clueless. No tactics, no adaptability, no motivation, no passion. Unfortunately there's no point getting rid of him as...

    And you think

Hopefully the atmosphere won't be as negative as today and the prospect of playing at Wembley will motivate the players. Plus it will be a different team and Burge won't be playing. I'm trying to keep some sense of optimism, but I'm fully aware we're shit.

Tactics today were wrong. The starting XI were wrong. The lack of reaction to goals/play was wrong. There's a theme and there's only one constant throughout.

    Idiots 2

The protest today was idiotic for a variety of reasons. When they scored I definitely lost it with the fans involved, and while it was a little heat of the moment, it's evidence of the fact these protests are causing divisions amongst fans. Was there even one chant related to the team today...

I was all for giving RS time etc, I thought the calls for his head were premature, but we are absolutely clueless. No tactics, no adaptability, no motivation, no passion. Unfortunately there's no point getting rid of him as whoever comes in will have the same players and were down already anyway.

And Venus, who was equally clueless. Your point?

Every single goal kick comes straight back. We are repeating the same mistake over and over. Also, the fact RS prefers Burge over RCC tells you all you need to know.

Subs won't have much of an impact, but based on the theory we can't get any worse, I'd bring Bigi and Jones on for Reilly and Reid.

Fair summary. I would add that Reid is a passenger and has touched the ball a handful of times, while Rose is almost playing the playmaker role, in that he is has the ball a lot, that's definitely not his game. As I said earlier the tactics are Thorn esq.

The player should be professional, but maybe more importantly we just shouldn't instigate pointless protests at the wrong times.

So so stupid. It will achieve nothing and it's cost us a goal and in fighting between fans.
