Just as a matter of interest...........

Baker overall for sure. he was the biggest thorn in Brums side all night. A special mention though for 'The Edge' he was excellent at CB. Quick, tidy and technically far superior to what we normally have at the back and he had King in his poscket all night. :D

    Quick question

Yes they picked a back two that shook everyone at first as Edge had not yet had a game and we were playing King back here with all that's gone on. Then hell we were 1 down within minutes and I bet everyone thought the worse was about to happen? Turned out to be genius almost. But I remember...

    Narrower pitch

There are some variances at clubs but they must all keep within the regulation sizes. Usually 110 - 120 yards x 70 - 80 yards. Most English clubs in the top two or three divisions use 115 x 74. variations apear depending on the club/stadium. I would suspect you must lodge the information...

    Edge - the unit

Looked very impressive. King will go home asking "who was that?" tonight. A CB with good feet and tecnically gifted combined with a rain and quick.

Who would you play for crewe ??

Same side except Chistie for Willis. Christie brings something extra at the back and is more than capable of covering the CB's at times when needed. he made a solid difference there when he came on.

Changed my mind give it to Richard

A good sign as he seemed to get something from the players Thorn was unable to do. However it's early days and it may just well be the Thorn gone factor just as easily. One thing was prominent though. Shaw/Carsley knew when and how to change it when needed. His selections were almost excellent...

    The Cark Baker Show

MOTM for sure. Deserved his goal when it came. King would have loved some of the delicious crosses he put in tonight!

    Sky sports news

And that's the point.....profits can go towards the venue that would include CCFC. There are more ways than one to skin a cat as they say!

    Dennis Wise

I get a sense that the lift the club needs and the momentum going forward could come from appointing Wise. Others mentioned don't have the same inspiration. It not ALL about how good your record is, though experience is a grand factor and Wise has that in these leagues. He can also become a...

Email With Taster From Programme - Fisher

What he says is quite right. How he says it may not sit well with everyone or be inspiring to the team but it needed to be said. I think he could see along with seven to six billion of us on this very forum that Thorn was no good, so why you say he doesn't know football is silly. Sure he knows...

Link for tonights game if anyone wants it

If it's on one it is usually on a plethora of others. I find http://www.firstrowsports.eu/ usually more stable.

The new manager, one simple question....

From what I can gather from everyone on here jennings is a great proven asset and there can be no denying our squad is a strong one in this league.

The new manager, one simple question....

Never said these owners would stay with CCFC if we got to the prem.....in fact they would sell quicker than you could sneeze.

The interview... What would you ask?

I thought the OP's question a valid one. Very difficult to answer and that's why there have been no answers! First I would explain the clubs circumstances, then tell him why i short listed him, then ask him how he would then go about securing promotion this season.

The new manager, one simple question....

Just wanted to put a touch of perspective on this manager search... CCFC is in a periless place right now and there is no hiding from that. It's clear to all SISU have gambled on success this season, it was afterall their best and only option once relegated and they will pull out all the stops...

John Sillett thinks Greg Abbott could do a job

Unfortunately though he will always be a legend for our FA Cup win he is another clueless one. As life president he seems to know very little about the club....clearly indicating the role is not in any executive capacity. has he any idea of where this club sits perilessly close to being...

    Coventry v Birmingham matchday thread

I think the interest is not this cup fixture now but the way we play after the clueless one has gone and what different picks Shaw and Carsley make to the team as opposed to what Thorn may have started with. I bet McSheffrey is back instantly for a start. When you have quality you must play it...
