Yes this. Their strength is their squad depth but considering their spend, our first 11 is of better quality. I think we'll miss EMC but if everyone else is ok i can see a 2-0 here. I think Sakamoto could be key, he could tie Cochrane in knots, then its just about the final ball.

Ironically I think Andersen was our first choice but we've done well out of Thomas and Kitching really. Worked out ok.

Sorry Marosi was our title winning keeper while Wilson sat on the bench. He'd have probably been a serviceable keeper at this level if things had been different. The most disrespected member of our title winners by far. Better than Wilson and remembered fondly by me.

The summer of the Gyok/Hamer sales, spending so much across the team but just 500k or whatever it was for Brad Collins was a slightly odd call.

Sorry which position, a wide forward? I'd agree if so, one that can play either side preferably. I'd also like someone who can play in Rudonis position, there's no one you can replace him with really and we'll run him into the ground.

Simms needs to show a lot more in all honesty but we're going over old ground there. The guy both cost and earns a lot of money. I don't think we'll end up 442 unless EMC and Sakamoto are both injured at the same time.

In theory that shouldn't be a disaster given the outlay on those players but it depends heavily on whether Simms can start showing he's worth even half of what we paid for him. His cameos recently haven't been too bad I suppose.

If we're being smart with funds I'll risk a small, high quality squad over a bloated squad full of mediocrity all day. Even with that in mind we're still short a couple before anyone says it. Hopefully we can rectify in January.

Leicester and Ipswich, even though the latter are faltering badly atm, are the best teams on paper. I don't even think Southampton look particularly scary on paper tbh. There for the taking by parachute standards.
