    Highfield Road in the Winter

I remember the the Sheff Wed game in 87 there may have been 10000 or 11000 thousand there and they were singing where's your 14000 as to the 14000 of us at Hillsboro the following week. Also remember an FA cup tie at home 3rd round in 85 against Watford and the snow started belting down...

    Could Otium

Could SISU buy the shares say for £2.7m and the do a deal to sell them to Wasps the next day for say £10m. A nice profit but would they still hold on to CCFC as well with no asset or would that be part of the deal.

    That's it.

I went to my first game Arsenal 1978 1-1 draw stood on a crate in west end hooked ever since but it's goodnight night from him and goodnight from me as I won't be going back either. We are heading for the non league no doubt about it unless someone comes in to invest in the club.

    It's not Rocket Science

SISU won't and do not want to invest anymore, Fisher has stated it is not viable for us to be promoted so what's the fucking point going up to support our team with that ambition. I went to the first 3 games back at the Ricoh and will not be going any more till SISU are gone. My first game by...

No ground no money no good so no point

Agreed, the club never been the same after leaving HR chasing a dream and playing in a stupid stadium they could never afford, the club needs to return to its community roots and SISU to be gone, I think a new stadium is needed but how it's financed is the problem, 32000 way to big for us I...

Should have stayed at Highfield Road

I drive round the ring road looking to see if Highfield Rd has grown back, surely they can't be a problem with building a new stadium within the city now, hopefully in the Stoke, Gosford area 22000 ample capacity stadium.

Wasps deal is for 100% of ACL

Ideally for me SISU realise they are on a no winner and sell, for a minimum price and new owners come in and council accommodate CCFC in a new stadium built near the city centre, FuCk the Ricoh been a disaster from day 1.
  14. Gynnsthetonic

    New stadium - Let's suppose for a minute ....

Please can we just move back to a 22000 stadium (ample for us)near the city centre, a modern style HR proper ground, no bowl and forget the Ricoh ever happening. Amen

    Butts arena

23000 capacity was plenty for us we are never gonna be a 30000 club every week even in the premier league, I just wanna wash my hands of the Ricoh it's been a disaster from day 1 and hopefully SISU F off and the council can accommodate us nearer the city centre

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

Let the egg chasers have it and CCC can allow and find room for a proper football ground to be built nearer the city centre not some soulless arena which has been a disaster from day 1. Couldn't even get it open on time for the first game in 2005. Highfield Rd 3 as number 2 built in the Coventry...

    16,000 where were you?

Everyone keeps on going on about kids for a quid but what about the blokes who wanna day out with there mates without wife and kids and being charged £24, that puts me off straight away, to me when it gets higher than say £17 I think it is just too much, I know people who meet in the pubs near...

    North Stand back open..

They could have had the front 10 rows used by the JSBs in the north stand and the rest closed, I sat row x south stand Friday and enjoyed the view,I agree that the crowds below 15000 will look sparse and being close to away fans makes for a better atmosphere, at Villa, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man...

    The Ricoh Roar

Not a fan of the Ricoh and the bowl until tonight, I have always harked on about HR but tonight it it seemed like home and my 8 year old loved it, just hope we can sustain the crowds but to do that we need to be in or around the top 6 all season and push for promotion, the club also needs to do...
