Very impressed with this lad, I can only assume his previous club were blessed with plenty of decent defenders to let him go.

Despite a pretty good performance overall, In my humble opinion i can see why we got so much money for Vik, he offered so much and despite missing some chances at times was a handful. I’d have loved him to play today against those half wits 😕

I beg to differ, I’m going to guess ( Hope to fuck I’m wrong ) that both will need a bit of time to shine and both will need a smaller slicker partner to act as a foil.

Palmer was excellent in the main, a lot of work to do with Wright, Simms and Ewijk, all 3 looked a yard short of pace and work rate to properly excel at this level. Eccles was good too. The game changed when we lost Hamer and they changed Vardy. Loads to be proud of and be excited about.
