    5200 sheep with no life...

It interests me that people can be so certain they are right about something that is very uncertain...ie. What affect the number of season tix sold will have on our owners. It seems to me very uncertain. Who knows, it could make SISU believe the club has got a loyal fan base which the right...

    Spin, spin, spin

A person who thinks the glass is half full is not an optimist, not a positive attitude, can do type. No, this is a person with low expectations, one who is too easily pleased! Sorry but I have to work with people who spout bollocks about glasses and attitudes.

    Squad Problems Solved...

If you took a look at the team sheet v. Southampton this was entirely predictable. Folks saying we need 6, 8 players or more can now subtract 6 from that figure and arrive at a more realistic 3 or 4, even allowing for 2 or 3 more to leave. If we sign more than 4 more than we let go from now on...

Here are the 2012 / 2013 new kits

Not impressed with the home kit. It is like the 2010-11 one which was one of the worst ever. Too busy, thin horizontal stripes and diagonal flashes = like a 1970s kids' T-shirt. We are a bit of a laughing stock as we have no clear identity. Serious teams don't keep dicking about with their kit...

Thank you for your support this season, would like to talk to you about....

Or the surfeit of bald, fat men who think they are players.

    It is for real

When the new dawn breaks will those of us who renewed season tickets earlier get special gold plated treatment? The thud of bandwagon jumpers... Best seats at Wembley, please.

    All time fave player!

Rather than the players who had just won the FA cup, you mean?

    All time fave player!

Graham Oakey, of course. Actually favourites are Mick Ferguson Micky Gynn Oakey Colin Stein. With honourable mention for Danny Thomas. Again I feel sorry for those fans who missed the best years of 1967 til late 80s. Only the entertainers in the late 90s can be mentioned in the same...

    Support the club!

Is the person who refuses to buy a season ticket similar to the person who refuses to have their child vaccinated? That is, they take a "principled" moral high ground position and rely on the fact that most others will not...therefore ensuring their child is protected anyway as the diseases do...

    clingan gone

Sorry to see Sammy go but it was inevitable given our financial plight and relegation. Sammy is one of a long line of central midfielders given stick by our fans and made a scapegoat for poor performances of the team. No evidence he cared less than others He did no more than Westwood...

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

Your memory has let you down. We were given a green voucher to fill in personal details and had to attach the last 4 home match tickets + 2 cup tickets. I still have them with rusty paperclip. We then had to queue for remaining tickets after they the club had handed armloads to all the prawn...

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

In 1987 I went to the 3 rounds before the cup final and every home game. I didn't have a season ticket. When we reached the final the club promised Wembley tickets to all who bought a season ticket for the following season OR you could collect vouchers and queue for what was left. So, everyone...

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

Put me down for £1000. I would buy a share of a fund that was reserved for player transfers and wages only, with full balance sheet annually of incomings, outgoings and overall wage structure. SISU are the only deal in town. We, as fans, have to decide to work with them or walk away for, maybe...

    While we all agree

Didn't the council put up most of the money for the Ricoh? It should stay in public ownership until the crooks clear out of football Public ownership of football grounds sounds like a good safeguard against crooks kidnapping the club like MK Dons did to Wimbledon.

I was proud of our kids yesterday...

Agree with OP. The kids gave it a real go. However, this must not distract us from the fact that they can only make up half the team, at most. We need more experienced players; this season too much has been asked of kids. Each of them should be squad players, not first choice. Too few...
