2018-19 Shirt Launch and Evening with Mark Robins - 29th June

In and the ‘free drink’ is limited to red/white wine or a Heineken - disappointing. There are 11 tables set out with 10 settings on each for those eating beforehand. So far there’s about 20 people here...

Everyone is currently standing outside as we aren’t allowed in until 6:45, despite them advising to be early #SISUOUT

2018-19 Shirt Launch and Evening with Mark Robins - 29th June

The dress code for tonight is ‘smart casual’, but I really want to wear shorts. Anyone else doing the same?

2018-19 Shirt Launch and Evening with Mark Robins - 29th June

Despite having a ST for 20 years (bar that season), I’ve never been to a kit launch, yet the optimism and excitement to the end of last season, combined with this pre season convinced me to. I appreciate it can be looked at in two ways, but if success and promising signings have increased an...

New Signing about to be announced - Jonson Clarke-Harris

No one knows what it means, but it's provocative, it gets the people going.

New Signing about to be announced - Jonson Clarke-Harris

I felt he was anti climatic last season; he has a good pedigree but didn’t stand out or do enough to evidence it. However, I think with a full pre season to improve his overall fitness and match sharpness, plus a confidence boost from MR/the team etc, he’ll be a different player next season...

    Incoming signing - Junior Brown

Left back is a position we universally agreed needed to be addressed, and Robins has delivered. Shrewsbury fans are disappointed to see Brown go. He’s an attacking full back, so perfect balance between him and the more defensively minded Stokes, which allows adaptability depending on the...

    Reise Allassani - New signing

Seems like a fantastic and exciting signing. Granted it’s a step up and it took Biamou time to settle, but Reece has a far superior pedigree. As has been stated, it’s a risk free signing, I doubt we paid much for him nor his wages, so if it doesn’t need work out we haven’t lost much. However...

    Pre and post Wembley plans

I’ve started my pre pre Wembley preparation today, as I’m currently en route to Birmingham for an ale trail. I feel my liver is going to be in a bad place come Tuesday!

    Jonathan forte

I agree. His pedigree certainly suggests so, but he’s been massively anti climatic this far. Hopefully with improved fitness and match sharpness he’ll be a better prospect next year. It’s a risk however it thetes a fee involved, as do we spend it in the assumption he’ll come good or use elsewhere.

I just googled it - that looks way too plush. This was definitely more of a spit and sawdust one!

    Pre and post Wembley plans

What was the pub called lot of Cov fans went to after the game - it wasn’t too far from Wembley but was quite small so they were operating a one in/out policy. It was on a corner from memory.

    Pre and post Wembley plans

I imagine most people will be around Wembley way, it sounds as though the Green Man is a popular choice. Personally I’m heading to the same pub in Farringdon I went to last year, followed by the same two pubs, in the same order, I subsequently went to last year and then tubing it over to...

    Pre and post Wembley plans

It was definitely anti climatic, but the Oak turned out to be pretty good in the end! Let’s hope we have reason to celebrate and when we do a pub is prepared to cater for it! We didn’t have the issue of the coach last time, we stayed in London until late drinking around there. I imagine we’ll...
