    Don't want to make you feel old wingy but my old man told me about it :-) did they beat tranmere on the way aswell.they had the matchball in the trophy cabinet signed by all the players.i used to have to clean it now and again.had great history for a little non league club

    Cov sporting weren't bad in their day.it was just an idea as there was talk of cov sporting starting up again a few years ago.

    Why not then .its your team you can do what you want.every club had to start somewhere. I'll come and watch when the city aren't playing.ive got no interest in cov sphinx.. Good luck with it.once your settled start a few kids and youth teams up.loads of pitches up westwood heath to use.

    Spot on.just one point the club will not be coming back to coventry.the land they are after is under another council durastiction.rugby or Nuneaton and beduff coventry won't have a club in coventry if the lunatic gets his way.

    Just my opinion but you need to get the fans on your side from day one.you need to get a name the fans will support and get behind.dont think coventry United will get many. Just my opinion but hats off to you for doing something about it.
