Why would/have WBA changed their mind? I may have missed the outcome, but didn’t they sign two wingers today?

Edwards (or another winger). I appreciate we’ve signed Wakefield but that’s stil only two genuine wingers in the team. Whatever your view of their ability, we currently have four first team strikers, plus Ponti, plus any youngsters (e.g. Bremang).

Pretty good window overall, and it’ll be even better we sign one more before the morning. We also shouldn’t forget, despite the rumours, we haven’t lost anyone pivotal to the team such as Willis or Bayliss, or any first team regulars like Burge.

Any updates on this one? Is Wakefield instead or as well as Edwards? It’s exciting if it’s the latter.

I’ve never been a fan of JCH and I don’t think he’ll be a loss. However, my slight worry is the lack of a physical striker if he does go. I wouldn’t call him a traditional target man as he doesn’t hold it up enough, but he does/did at least give us a different option from the bench. Granted...

As much as I don’t rate his overall game, Chaplin has scored in the last few games. I also believe Hiwula will find his shooting boots. Don’t get me wrong, I’d like us to sign another striker in a ideal world, but as we literally don’t have a left winger that should be the priority.

I also like Grimmer and he offers an outlet offensively, but Sterling is the better player and at this point in time when we really really need to hit some form, we have to play our strongest team. Bayliss will be a big loss if injured. I’d play Westbrooke if so, as they seem fairly similar and...
