Penny for Sargents thoughts. Turning down a move to Wolfsburg for this shit show.

    Championship thread 25/26!

We'll be looking at players who we consider to have potential to step up a level imo.

No point paying it any thought really. They drew away with the other team in the top 2 too, it happens. Be thankful we got the point, it was almost 0 points.

The likes of Still, Selles and even Russell Martin north of the border also resembled elderly shit covered canines but at least they have been allowed to go with some dignity before it got too bad. Norwich need to let go, its just cruel at this point. He stinks.

Manning is like a dog who's hind legs have stopped working at this point. Someone put him out of his misery, there is no dignity in watching him drag along his own shit.

    Awfull tactics from lampard

I reckon one last push before the break and just try and batter them into submission. Fuck knows though, its an interesting one.

    callum o hare

I agree, i wouldn't be meat riding him before full time in a big game though. But if we're going to glaze sicknote Sheaf and the deluded show pony Palmer then all bets are off.

    Awfull tactics from lampard

I agree, but with Rudoni out i don't really think we have an obvious answer and BTA in the 10 is just making the best of the situation. Hopefully just one more against Stoke then Rudi is back after the break. It's clear to me we need someone who can play that position in the Jan window.

    callum o hare

Absolutely mate. Pure weird shit. I don't even want us to sing anything for Robins at Stoke (certainly before full time) but if we're dishing out chants for that pair of melts then i'd actually be staggered if there wasn't one for Robins.

    callum o hare

Sheaf got a fucking song then proceeded to celebrate every goal Wrexham scored like it was a winner in a world cup final.

I'm not naming every player tbf  Manhoef and Thomas are the main threats imo.

    Sam McCallum

He would if that's his base level and he went through the standard 'Lampard improvement' phase.

Manhoef and Thomas are the ones to keep quiet. Manhoef was on my personal shopping list when he was in Holland, cracking little player. I will say, they should worry about us too, i wouldn't swap our 11 for theirs, far from it! I'm not liking this bypassing the midfield thing really but it seems...

    Sakamoto

He deserves a crack at the Prem with us. More than good enough to be an impact sub even at that level imo, he's so tricky.

Match Thread Stoke City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Nov

We're not a team that gets battered imo. Think it'll be tight and they'll play to nick a narrow one. Hopefully we have enough going the other way.

The away fixtures leading up to the Jan window do look pretty fucking grim tbf. If we're still top 2 after that we're laughing.

Just a bit of theatre booing ex players isn't it? Football is just a bit of fun after all.

Draws more than good enough if we win the home games for me, but i think if we win 1 it'll be Boro. I can just see them falling off a bit.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield United Match Thread - Tuesday 4th Nov

Like other teams that go through ups and downs though and like i was saying about Stokes 2 big wins (as they usually keep games very low scoring) its a very small sample size. I expected Birmingham to be near the top 6 but very underwhelming for the most part and i'd need to see a bit more...
