I know we tend to track targets for a while and given the amount we were prepared to throw at it, i assume we thought he could step up too. Probably right though, we may have moved on from it. Woolf might well be sold straight back to The Championship and we could well bring 2 in.

I'd have a rule to exclude those of course. I'm not that fussed by many tbh even from clubs that may follow us up. Could probably crack out a shortlist of about 10 and work from there.

We have more players with that little bit of sparkle that could stick around imo. I certainly think our entire best 11 as is will make the matchday squad even if only 4 of them end up starting. We should concentre our funds on 6/7 real quality players and trust the rest, rather than spreading...
