    Jordan Willis

Willis' pace would be an asset at championship level. His use of the ball surely would have developed playing in a team that train and play that way.

Yeh really hopeful that he can do it consistently. I will be surprised though if he will be close to the grit and energy that Dabo shows week in week out. Will be delighted if proven wrong.

Dabo is a massive loss, when you need to dig deep but Rose is a bonus.

In our favour is that there have been few games where we have looked totally out of our depth. Watford was a good example. We are capable, with the rub of the green, of beating any Championship side. Form maybe as important as position at this stage. What will be crucial is the squad mentality...

I agree. Boddy has made a positive difference. And changing the mindset of offering one year deals to giving players decent 2 to 3 year contracts gave the squad much needed stability.

    Jodi Jones

Players can improve in other ways from long term injuries. Listening to Matty James is a good example - appreciating every training session and every minute on the pitch. For Jodi it would have been different if he was a tackler to start with. It is not as if he is a lightweight on the ball. He...

    Jodi Jones

Didn't he do a lot of cycling whilst fund raising? Hopefully that will have done some strengthening. What an incredible story it will be if he can be back in the match squad before the end of the season. 🤞

Left back / wing back against Norwich next Tuesday

Thought he may have been playing that role for U23s today if he was in the plans for Norwich but he was in midfield.

Left back / wing back against Norwich next Tuesday

I agree. I cannot see how he will have anywhere near the energy for the role, but maybe it will be the making of him. He certainly should be able to deliver balls into the box if given the time to do so.

Left back / wing back against Norwich next Tuesday

At the time he was loaned out we were consistently playing wing-backs, which wasn't his strength, and we had 2 loaned in. It made sense for him to get game time elsewhere. However as we have seen we sometimes revert back to playing with a back 4 and McCallum has looked vulnerable. Mason was very...

Left back / wing back against Norwich next Tuesday

The fact he has been playing on the wing is even more reason to bring him back. The extra forward experience will surely help if he plays wing back. He was doing well there but has had some injuries.

He was on the bench on Saturday

Left back / wing back against Norwich next Tuesday

It will be interesting to see if Joe Newton is on the bench on Saturday. Has been a regular for U23s. Obviously a big ask but may be worth starting him with a plan B if he is out of his depth. That's assuming Reid isn't fit. However I think it is odd that Mason wasn't brought back. He may not be...

    Ostigard

If we stay up, realistically next season will be about stabilization. Some of our current players, if they manage injuries, are going to get better from championship experience - Dabo, Rose, Hyam, Hamer, O'Hare, Allen, Godden, Walker, Dacosta. We then have some talented youngsters who will...

    Ostigard

I think we have one of the smallest squads as it is. The problem is we are able to bring in better players but with history of injuries, which then warrants a larger squad to cope with inevitable further injuries.

    Ostigard

He should be on a Weetabix or '3 Shredded Wheats' advert!

    Ostigard

He was a little rash at times early season but he has put in some very mature performances and without Fadz alongside. His heading is immense but I have been impressed with his improved distribution from the back. He isn't the quickest but otherwise is looking a very good all-round defender.

    Will we stay up ?

Luckily we have some very decent midfielders at this level (James, Hamer and O'Hare) with great work rate and we have a guy at the back (Ostigard) who is playing well above his age, and will be a contender for player of the season at this rate.

    Will we stay up ?

Gutted with some of the results today with Rotherham, Forest and QPR winning. I just hope we are able to keep the work rate up over this difficult month of games and avoid losing any more to injuries. If we can stay up and regroup it will be a great achievement. We somehow need to sneak a win...

    Ratings - Watford

Marosi 7 (wasn't really troubled but did most things as expected) Dacosta 7 (super cross for Biamou header. Not used enough) McCallum 7 (best game for a while against a pedigree player. Didn't get forward much) Rose 7 (great to see him lasting 90 minutes. Won a lot of headers. Understandably a...
