    Tory Monopoly

Do you think it healthy that there may be no centre or left wing parties with any relevance to your perceived electorate?

You don't know what you're missing!

The simple truth is that there have been too many false dawns and broken promises for 2 decades now. Anybody over 30 who has drifted away is disillusioned and busy doing other stuff now. Only a sustained promotion push with good football being played will very slowly bring people back. Many...

    It's about time we had.....................

Oggy ... Anyway Tony, it hit Mabbutt on his knee, just here, and then it hung in the air and, I felt the world stop, I could see the trajectory from, ooh now, I must have been 90 yards away and ... (10 minutes later) ... As it trickled over the line I just knew ...

    What's your gripe?

Yes I show the rant in my philosophy classes. It doesn't actually make any difference though, does it? He claims that God has no right to allow evil but that doesn't mean it ain't so. In other words what we believe doesn't alter reality. There might still be a God and that God may or may not...

    Tuesday night home game

Pointless scheduling midweek games between October and March as the older fans are reluctant to travel and sit freezing. Football 3pm Saturday :D

    Adam Armstrongs shorts

All the shorts are too big but some look farcical to me. Ok the 80s shorts were too small but they are now going to the other extreme. More like boxing style or Basketball now.

    Tory Monopoly

Corbyn will definitely shakes things up. I think his activism, the way he takes to the streets and gets involved in grassroots issues, will catch the current tide in which many people are sick of the slick, vacuous politicians like Cameron who do smooth talk but believe in and do very little...

    A song for the City

Well done, Otis. I like it and it is easy to learn and catchy enough to be sung often.

    Current Squad

Defence unconvincing so far. Need much more in that department. Too many goals conceded which will cost us points. This is the difference between success and a nearly team.

    Another signing next Monday

We need one or two defenders now. The back five is unconvincing as a unit and only Ricketts and Reda are definite starters. Both full back positions need to be improved IMO. Stokes is OK but if I were TM I would be looking at him to face more competition. TM will not rest on his laurels and...

    Sudden selection delama!

Lameiras is quality but he has been subbed twice recently and I think TM will rest him if Kent looks good in training. I would also expect him to pick Armstrong. So only changes I would expect are Kent in for Lameiras and Armstrong in for Tudgay. Of course we are just guessing but TM is a canny...

    Refugees welcome?

Precisely. Of course we have to take people in under emergency circumstances but we cannot have emergency mode as the new normal. It seems imperative that countries get together and address migration as an issue for us all. It is unsustainable for millions of people to be on the move around the...

    Habitual exaggeration

Do you suffer from OCD or are you just henpecked? Most of that sounds OTT. Whoever heard of a man dusting the bedroom? Only needs doing once a month at most.

David Phillips is a Sky Blues legend. Time to drop this now. Twitter is like gossip, easily said should be quickly forgotten. PUSB

    Habitual exaggeration

Sounds like you do very little between October and April, then. Outdoor chores only take up half the year on my experience. How often do you clean the loo? That needs doing 365 days per year. Watering plants and mowing take little time.
