We’re worryingly getting deeper in our attacking play, as in our midfield attacking two aren’t as quick to get forward. At this point Godden is isolated. No signs of movement from the bench either.

Depends on the formation, his strength is link play and with two attacking midfielders behind him, it would play to his strengths. Plus, let’s be honest bar one impressive turn and shot Godden has done nothing at all. You can’t carry your striker when only playing on up there.

I know I’m against the grain, but I don’t agree. He looks more comfortable with the ball, but his crossing remains suspect.

Not sure Godden has touched the ball. He isn’t suited to playing on his own, even with two advanced midfielders behind him. Not a Godden hater, but he needs two up front or we need more natural 10’s behind him.

I agree and I’ve made the same point, but it definitely isn’t 3 up front, it’s Godden with Shipley and Westbrooke playing as 10’s.

Remember when everyone was going mental that the mighty Lincoln had beaten us to the signature of Tyler Walker? I don’t want to curse it, but he’s looked poor so far.

Lincoln are trying to play out from the back, but their centre backs are absolutely not footballers and we are doing a good job of exploiting and pressuring that.

Just seen the line up; not as bad as is made out. Yes Godden is up front on his own, but he has two attacking midfielders behind him, it’s absolutely not 4-3-3 which would be a disaster. It’s back to 3-4-2-1. I’d prefer Biamou and Godden up front (or any two up top) but it could be worse...

Quiet on here again, I suppose there’s nothing to moan about yet. I’m not even too fussed about the individuals (although obviously I’d like the team selected in my previous post), but please no 4-3-3 today. Back to 3 at the back and 2 up front would be ideal.
