Best actor portrayals of a perpetual character

It's interesting on Bond. When I watched the films back then I really liked Roger Moore as Bond. Now when I reflect on him though, I find his portrayal as oafish, clownish and a tad embarrassing. For me, Connery's Bond has stood the test of time, while Moore's, although later, have dated quite...

Best actor portrayals of a perpetual character

I know. I really don't see McGann as Doctor Who, it is so different from the series and concept in so many ways. Also missed Peter Cushing off too, from the 60's movies. Niven is a Bond satire/pastiche, so again, not at all Bondish.

I know Mrs. Brown too. Lovely lady and not at all as 'put it about' as AshbyJan's. :)

I know Steve Brown because he used to be involved with Coventry Bears American football team and I know AshbyJan because I am sleeping with his wife. Keep it hush, hush though, as he is not aware. ;)

    Westworld

Another programme that has missed a trick again. TWD has done it twice and so too did GOT. Now, after all these months, it really doesn't matter who Negan killed and I guess there are many like me who now can't give a rats' arse who got the bat. They try and hold the suspense, but people just...

    Football buzzwords and cliches

I hate it when commentators say 'that was a world class save,' when it was anything but and the keeper would have been blamed had he not saved it. I don't like the selective use of 'against the run of play ' either. Depends who it is. If it is Leicester or Chelsea, suddenly it becomes classic...

    England v Scotland

Right, the English face the Scots next month in the world cup qualifying and of course I am always totally rooting for an England victory every time they meet. However, word is, if England win this game, Southgate gets the job permanently. Dilemmas, dilemmas. Can I really bring myself to hope...

    Steve Brown steps down

I used to know him a little and he's a very hard working, dedicated bloke. Whether people agree or disagree with him, I think we all need to appreciate all the effort he has put in for the SBT.

    Westworld

I think it is just that for the robots it is programmed and the humans are policed, but yeah, it is factually inaccurate, unless they have somehow made the knives so it is impossible for them to penetrate flesh. With bullets in a gun it is easy, they just bounce off real people, but those...
