    Maatsen

I’ve been like this all season. I want to like Maatsen the wing back but I’m not sold. He’s been a cracking AM when played there though

We’re not half a frustrating side. Getting dicked by Luton, yet put 7 past Fulham.

    Championship 21/22

Thing is we need another Gyokeres and O’Hare along with a replacement for Allen and a centre back to be reinforced We weren’t complimenting or getting similar players for what money we had, and that would have been a disaster financially.

    Hypothetically

People like Critchley and Cooper will have the more shade due to working with Premier league teams and England.

    Hypothetically

Stoke will go for a name off the manager merry go round. Blackburn have just as unpopular owners as us.. why go there and get the stress, when he’s got a relatively relaxed job here (owners trust him, fans are behind him) - he’s already turned down a bigger job than us, Blackburn and Stoke at...

    Robins interview

What I mean is, we’re usually chasing a game in the last 15 minutes. A lot of the time the game is visually turning between 45-60 minutes. It would be nice if we preempted the change rather than reacting.

    Robins interview

Whilst I don’t disagree with you, this stat doesn’t really hold. We usually make subs when it’s too late rather than making them to stop the game turning

Be interesting when their 15 point deduction gets applied

    This Summer

He’s got a point though. When was the last time we sold en masse? we were supposed to be selling Hamer and O’Hare last year and getting relegated this year. we’ve improved year on year with Robins, why does everyone seem to think next season will be different?

    Remarkable but Concerning

I’m not getting what you’re getting at? We agree. Ongoing progression is good. but at some point we’re going to stall, and stagnate. I don’t want the owners to throw cash with no way of getting the money back. If we’re going to continue to progress, eventually they’re going to have to invest in...

    Remarkable but Concerning

Not necessarily, there’s a way to invest but get a return. The current strategy isn’t a bad one. Buy low sell high. what we need is someone to take the gamble. Sign 5/6 good players sell 1 each year.Thats what we started with and what Brentford did. Its also about keeping those players on long...

    BBC CWR

I hate this comment. You always take success - there’s no right time to plan it, it was levelled at us when we won league one. Football is all about adapting

That is the issue with Morgan - shame really. Seems to have more influence than Root aswell

I said this to a friend last year. Morgan is a good captain, there’s nobody apart from Root who would offer much more than Morgan in terms of batting. Might aswell go for our best captain

I think they should keep Root. My thoughts are part of it is that he’s lost the ear on Anderson and Broad who seemed to openly defy him in the ashes. I’m sure that’s why they were dropped - Strauss’s way of slapping them down. that document is incredible, what strikes me is that after they won...

Analysts are the problem. There’s not enough instinct and ability to think for themselves. theY said in 1 ashes tests “ the data says they’re bowling in the right areas and they should be getting them out” too much statistical based plans, rather than adapting to the situation. For me root...

I dunno. We have a lot of great bowlers but we cannot bat for toffee, in terms of openers weve never replaced Strauss let alone Cook, Root is world class. Lawrence is young and will be inconsistent, same as Pope. Bairstow only turns up when he’s pissed off. stokes world class, Foakes not a great...

    Jodi Jones

We started with Robins favourite formation 4-2-3-1 when Jones when Jones got injured it became of a 4-3-3/4-4-2 hybrid with McNulty up top with biamou or JCH and Shipley or Bayliss drifting In. there was definitely a system change when Jones got injured

    Jodi Jones

The question marks were over whether he could perform at a higher level. Granted he was young but he didn’t pull up any trees in league one the season before. If I recall he wasn’t a first choice then. add in stunted development, and a huge jump in league standard I’d say those question marks...

    Blues protest vs Us

And whether we agreed with it or not. They allowed us to play at their ground. I’d hope we do show sympathy, remember we’re 9 years away from being turfed out again.
