Match Thread Coventry v Wycombe Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Feb

He did really well, and I thought all the defence were excellent - they stood up to the pressure really well.

    That buzz....

Well it is entertaining bollocks - and I look forward to hearing that you're back supporting the team at the games!

    That buzz....

How about thinking of your fellow fans, supporters who have never seen success (I've been lucky enough to see 60's success and the '87 final) and deserve some joy. Also, a win tonight could positively affect our league performances.

    That buzz....

If you feel like that, why post on here? I ask this with respect, I don't understand how you can have a ticket but not go, but then post on here regularly, which indicates an interest.

    Wycombe Match

I just like the positive thoughts that people are coming up with on this thread. This game could be a turning point if we win, we need to score the first goal. Well done to those supporters planning positive, supportive action.

    Ponticelli

You're right about the effect on defenders, I saw the look on Cian Harries face when there was a fair bit of abuse at the end of the Oxford game. But - what will happen if this boy misses a couple of chances, and we lose? I can't see much sympathy or understanding rolling around the Ricoh.

I think if we lose on Tuesday night, it would be a burden on our young players, because the atmosphere will be nothing less than toxic. It's one thing bringing young players into a winning team in a supportive environment, another to blood them in the current situation.

We can't score and we can't keep a clean sheet.

Match Thread Coventry v Millwall Match Thread - Saturday 4th Feb

How about one that doesn't appear to contribute towards us conceding a goal?

    Anyone else had enough?

Well that's the end of this thread - nothing more to say!

    Anyone else had enough?

That record of support deserves great respect, and respectfully I say, don't give up on your club/team. It still ruins my Saturday night/weekend - always will.

The Next 6 Games will define the season

We need to gain 8 points, but one win may give the team the confidence they need, and I also agree with some posters that a win against Wycombe will also give confidence, and may well boost our survival hopes. Plus our fans deserve a great day out, so I'm hoping for Wembley AND survival (as most...

I have to say well said Grendel, should the OP change his handle? Is that the right term??

What this transfer window tells you

I can't justify those tactics, I was at the Chesterfield game and it was the worst I have seen a City team play, just hit and hope to two small forwards. I'm still giving him time, because he's what we've got, and I doubt he's going anywhere this season.

What this transfer window tells you

It is certainly true that the last few games have been really poor, and the signs don't look good, but it is far too early to write him off. We should be judging him at season's end, when we can see whether progress has been made.

    What's more likely

Go and watch Leiston, Needham Market, Lowestoft, some good football round your way now. Alternatively, keep the faith!

    Willis gone, Exodus begins!

Isn't that what he said? I hope Willis stays, a young improving player, versatile.

    Willis gone, Exodus begins!

Good post, we should be supporting our young home grown players, but young players like Willis and Haynes get abuse from some posters on here, and at some games. And then, those players are subject to bids from higher League clubs (Rotherham, Wolves) or taken on trial (Liverpool). These other...
