Old Man in mobility scooter killed

I've always said there should be a 2 pronged approach, make it a public health issue like in Scotland, (I think this may have started in London), very effective but a long term strategy. Mandatory prison for possesion, it might not work but its worth trying something. Still worth remembering...

Old Man in mobility scooter killed

Oh fuck off woke society! Stop and search exists, it doesn't need bringing in, the police have the right to do it. But because the MET are such a cluster fuck it's politically sensitive. Last week there was a report about how many children they'd stripped searched without an appropriate adult...

No, but they could have been a bi I said yesterday was streets fault but it's indicative of the situation.

but even that could have been conveyed by the club. It's been periods of silence followed by ambiguity. Even yesterday when everyone was expecting a statement, nothing was forthcoming, (I appreciate that was Streets fault).

that's the impression I got because there was no clear statement from the club. It's clear to me they could have called off all 3 games the 2nd weekend of the season. They'v e handled it poorly.

I'm not making myself clear, we've had 3 games called off, if the pitch is that bad then they must have known at least a couple of weeks ago. The late Rotherham announcement would have been fine if it was a close run thing and Wigan was on, but the pitch must have been in a terrible state and...

yeah, after the inspection Saturday evening, which gave the impression it was borderline, yet we've had another 2 postponements, no way it was borderline, the club must have known the severity of the situation yet we've been strung along in a similar fashion for Wigan and now Huddersfield.

the game was officially called off Saturday evening, less than 24 hours before kick off, piss poor. And like I said in another post, if it was borderline fair enough, but if it was, we wouldn't have then had a further 2 games postponed.

it's true. Just look at the threads on here relating to the issue, no one really knew what was going on and now we're on to our third postponement. We were kept in the dark like fucking idiots, piss poor from the club.

it's quite clear to me that the Rotherham game was never going to be on. If it was anywhere close to being a borderline decision then even if Rotherham hadn't gone ahead then surely Wigan would of? They knew more than they were letting on and they kept the support in the dark.

probably not, but he could have treated supporters with a bit more respect. He gets credit for the overall improvement in communication since hes arrived so he has to take criticism in an instance like this when it's been poor.

to be fair, if he can drum up support and get a few people up there then fair enough. No point in having several different protests planned.

not all the blame, far from it, I agree, but he should of been more aware of what was going on, or not going on as the case may be, and kept the support better informed.

Last time PSB was involved in a protest he ended up having coffee and biscuits with Nick Eastwood. Probably threw in a couple of free tickets.

We have 13k season ticket holders, (many aren't based in the city), we were told on the eve of the Rotherham game it wouldn't go ahead. Was that because Boddy didn't know how bad the situation was? Or did he know but adopted a hope for the best approach? Either way, that's on him, he was either...
