    Wasps downward spiral...

His voting history is chequered aswell, was definitely a big Boris supporter. But if he stops the wasps money… he’s alright in my books

    ‘Expert’ season Prediction thread

Our problem will be that whilst our first 11 in my opinion is top 6, after that we’re painfully thin - that will ultimately lead to us being midtable

    Wasps downward spiral...

I don’t live in Coventry - so I wrote to my MP as a “concerned midlands citizen not happy that during this cost of living crisis I’m subsidising a company that won’t benefit the rest of the midlands” surprisingly for a Tory he was receptive to my complaints and has gone to find out more for me.,

    Championship Table 2022/23

I rate Alex Neil, and I think Sunderland will have that bounce. If they start well the big crowds will be behind them (can also go against them if they don’t) Swansea I always thought were the 1 team that comprehensively outplayed us twice, but that did translate to everyone else.

1-1 - they’ve got a bit of bounce after being promoted. Need to get over this shitty “rivalry” they’ll be decent at this level - draw will be a good result.

    Sir Lewis Hamilton

Isn’t Hamilton in the top 5% of tax payers in the country?

    Sir Lewis Hamilton

I’d argue that Hamilton didn’t have title winning cars in his final 3 years at McLaren and his first at Mercedes, on top of this years car being poor. I’d also argue that Hamilton has had more close competition than Schumacher. Schumacher also benefitted from being de facto and unchallenged...

    Sir Lewis Hamilton

Nah, Mercedes were just an engine supplier at the time. brawn was with Ferrari, I think they entered into F1 as a team in early 2010s I think and split with McLaren, they had Michael Schumacher out of retirement. When he retired again they brought Hamilton in, they were still middle of the pack...

    Sir Lewis Hamilton

It’s not as simple - Bottas was never anywhere near Hamilton’s level, Rosberg was Hamilton’s partner for years and only beat Hamilton once. When Hamilton went to Mercedes the car wasn’t anywhere near competing - rule changes and Hamilton’s input led to the car it became like I said, Mercedes’...

    Sir Lewis Hamilton

What annoys me is “it’s becuase he’s had the best Car” - that may be but if it was just the car Mercedes wouldn’t pay him 40m a year to drive it F1 is misunderstood as a lot of the car set up is from data and input from the driver. There’s a lot more settings that go into them cars he’s in...

    Barcelona

I get that but they’ve operated the same obscene way for years. They’re dreadful for tapping up players, and the Galacticos era arguably lead to English clubs trying to step up.

    Barcelona

This is what annoys me. They’ve been doing what PSG have been doing for years, as soon as someone else starts throwing money around - La Liga are kicking off to UEFA and everyone

I think Bayern asked for a lump sum. I get how they can fund purchases, just can’t see why Fifpro are letting them get away with the contract disputes
