I think that's a reasonable question, and at least it may (or may not?) confirm what we think he is saying anyway. Yes, we can read between the lines, but sometimes that's not as accurate as we'd hope.

McCann was rubbish first half. Completely ineffectual, losing tackles, passes not reaching city players. Played much better 2nd half.
