Wilson has started nearly every pre-season game and finished the season. To me that suggests he is Robins' first choice. Thrown a bit by the squad numbers though. I can only imagine something happened behind the scenes toward the end of last season.

    Bournemouth after Moore?

The fact Moore has been given the No 1 Jersey hopefully indicates he is No 1

    Bournemouth after Moore?

Moore made a massive difference to our defence at the start of the season. A keeper that can claim crosses!! I think he gave the defenders confidence knowing they had someone dependable behind them. His form did tale off after Christmas but he was still decent. I also like the fact he seems...

    Fabio Tavares Signs New Deal

Funny how some people expect a player of his age to be a goalscorer, good in the air pacy, and strong. He isn't likely to be used as one up front so I don't think he needs to bulk up. We just need to utilise his strengths - pace, quick feet, looking to get in behind, and a finisher. He also...

Pleased Eccles managed 90 minutes after his injury woes. It will be interesting to see how big a role he plays this season and in what position.

    Weaker or Stronger.

We had 6 last year and ended up having to play Dabo and Sheaf there at times. We are also going into an even more crammed schedule. Fadz may not be used as frequently too. So if we are playing 3 centre halfs, having 5 is not enough imo

    Weaker or Stronger.

Early days I know, but Panzo looks a good addition and Palmer potentially so too. However, the lack of depth in defence concerns me. I realise that Drysdale and Pask may not have been good enough for first team regulars (although Pask at RCB looked capable), but both could have stood in if...

    Reasons for Optimism

If O'Hare goes, I think a good start will be even more important in maintaining optimism in the group and on the stands. Our second half of the season wasn't great so we need to get back to that strong start. Keeping players fit will be key. Another of O'Hare's attributes is being physically...

I thought he did okay. Got forward quite well. Good option for the diagonal ball that he heads back into the area. Had one decent strike that should have hit the target but found a good position at the back post.

I realise that, but he can cover there [LWB] and play in a back 4 (which might be required at some stage) and in an emergency can play LCB. We are going to need bodies on the bench and he hasn't done anything wrong in his friendly match cameos.

Any word on where Sheaf, Fadz and Waghorn were? Must be injured or ill I would have thought. Also, why Palmer didn't feature, despite named as sub.

Depending on getting in a LWB. We need cover at the mo.

Panzo limping a bit at the end. Hopefully just fatigue. Hamer and Allen showed great fitness levels. Oxford were surprisingly poor I thought. Not much of a test.

Jodi Jones v Dabo will be interesting if he comes on, although he may play on Bidwell's side

Panzo looks very good. Kelly injury a worry as he realised straight away something wasn't right.
