Don’t get me wrong, i agree, players have bad games, I said in the Sunderland game he needs to come off just before half time. But some people go from one extreme to the other. Eccles isn’t a poor player, the current experiment with him isn’t working, the guy just needs a reset.

I had no problem with Sheaf. I generally found he was a good player and said many times on here. His problem was for me bad luck as he made no more mistakes than others, just when he did make a mistake it almost always led to a goal. eccles is a confidence issue, maybe not helped by his badly...

This. Eccles is a good player. It was obvious that as the Sunderland game wore on his confidence was dropping. This happens to young players. We should have took him off at half time, with Dabo on the bench - Eccles needs to be taken out of the firing line, go back to performing for the U23s...

I get your point. But with the games thick and fast in general, the league cup has lost importance. This has shown from the managers over the last 10 or so years and the clubs apathy has trickled down to the fans. I remember when it was a 2 legged affair all the way through.

So what odds are on this being the demise of wasps?
