    More breaking news?

It's not the kids... It's the other adults that make up pointless shit for you to do to justify their own roles.

    The Long Long Long Game

Would hope a serious bidder would completely stay out of the media. Anyone that runs their 'proposal' through the CET is not a credible option.

    The Long Long Long Game

That's exactly the reason why they WILL be allowed to move. A non-footballing entity obstructing a league club from fulfilling fixtures....

    Next Protest

Delay the kick off by barricading the turnstiles Sit in on the pitch at HT or before the game. Everybody leave at HT and don't return... leave the stadium empty for 2nd half. Although it made a statement last time, I would hope that we don't interrupt the game in-play again.

So I suppose the most important question is

Quality Street and Ferrero Rocher can fuck off...

    This club is dead

OK - I'll take Cretin back. But you have absolutely no morals whatsoever.

    This club is dead

If that is the case - then he should step aside as chairman and let us have an independent local figure to oversee the club. SISU put zero in and take zero out, and as a club we keep every penny we can make. If fans were confident that the money they spend directly went to the club and nowhere...

    This club is dead

As opposed to you being the kind of cretin that not even Wasps would have dared to dream about...

    This club is dead

True... but equally there must have been some shocking decisions that got them to League 1 in the first place. Lobbing money at the club won't fix the problem just like that... It needs to be done properly.

    You're the chairman

You need people passionate about the club... and about Coventry. You couldn't do any worse than talking on a load of youngsters out of college in the City and task them with driving this message home. The whole 'Made in Coventry/We are Coventry' approach.

    This club is dead

You gave up 2 years ago when your mates from out of town showed up. You're like they guy that texts his ex girlfriend to tell her that your new girlfriend is much hotter... when in reality we all know she's an unprincipled slag.

    This club is dead

They call kids in schools 'stakeholders'. I fucking hate it - but it's just pretentious people being pretentious pricks.

    This club is dead

It's not actually what they want though is it. What they really want is to leave it alone and somehow it miraculously will sort itself out and they can have some money as a result. They don't want to spend any money, and as they can't get back what they believe they put in then they will just...

    You're the chairman

Give every kid in Coventry under 10 a free season ticket if they want one.
  15. Ian1779

    Fisher is the problem

Quite possibly... but it's paying the bills in the off-season, securing players on long term contracts and investment to push forward that will be the biggest challenge.
  16. Ian1779

    You're the chairman

Make a serious apology to fans. Promise that going forward to be 100% transparent and honest with fans.... And stick to it. Admit stadium stories are bollocks and previous ones were all shit. Explain real situation about legals. If it can't be stopped by club then tell the fans why. Disband...

    Fisher is the problem

I agree - a change in that position is vital if they are ever going to engage the fan base. When you strip away hatred of him and SISU they've pretty much said that we have to pay for ourselves. If we were to be taken over by a fans group this would not be a dissimilar scenario.
  18. Ian1779

Fisher live on CWR.... the countdown begins.

Hopefully someone will (calmly) ask him to justify why he promised a new stadium 3+ years ago and he hasn't delivered shit.

    Protest

After the frustration of the result has passed - I think it was a really well organised protest in its entirety - and it has got the media attention it was looking for. It was done peacefully and that is what will be remembered. It is so much more powerful when the fans don't allow it to descend...

    Protest

I'm not against the protestors... I thought they had done a great job up to that point... And there was plenty of mentions on Sky all night. I take issue with the fact that in the context of the game at that point... It was not the right time. Do it at the end... Or at least in stoppage time...
