    22/23

Yeah if you’ve not been to any away games recently I’m not sure why you should next season just because it’s the Prem. Away capacities are bigger so I’d expect plenty of chances for people to attend away if they want to.

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

I’m loving the plastics losing their shit TBH, same as the promoted teams staying up this season, the more clubs up there that haven’t had riches dropped on the the better IMO. If we don’t go up I’ll certainly be rooting for Luton in the Prem next season.

Probably trendy not to like this but i think it's catchy

Just stick it on repeat on Spotify overnight and put your phone on silent.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think you’ll get a lot of realignment under Labour to make things smoother, I’m not a trade expert to know exactly what that would look like. I’d expect actual discussions to join the EU would still be politically toxic for at least the next term, not sure if the CU or SM would hold the same...

Any new weekend paper stories on us?

Fair. But I’d say BBC isn’t far behind. Most independent reviews of bias put AP, BBC and Reuters in a similar bracket. Even bringing them down to the level of a Telegraph or Guardian is ridiculous, let alone GBN.

Any new weekend paper stories on us?

I was responding to discussions about bias. Morally Im saying there’s a reason a small new organisation with a spotty record that is actively under the eye of the public has a different visceral reaction from a massive organisation spread across the world that had something happen decades ago...

    Season Tickets!!!

I’d be furious if I were Doug. Should never be letting sales leads go cold because of poor processes for a calendared event. This whole thing (both ST renewals once the deal was sorted and the last few games ticket sales) seems to have caught them totally off guard.

    Season Tickets!!!

Seems a waste. There’s currently no way for me as a fan to give the club money while my excitement is up. Would be nice if they at least opened up ST renewals/moves.

Any new weekend paper stories on us?

Haha, I think the guy claiming GB News is better than the BBC cos Saville might be the one you’re thinking of. On any objective measure they’re in completely different categories. BBC/Guardian/Telegraph/Times are one level of reporting. Sun/Mail/Express/Morning Star/Independent/New...

Any new weekend paper stories on us?

You can’t compare really. Saville was awful but to claim that taints the BBC forever is a little silly. As I say, this is a week ago, GB News’ failings are very much current affairs: https://www.ofcom.org.uk/news-centre/2023/ofcom-finds-gb-news-in-breach-of-broadcasting-rules-for-a-second-time

Any new weekend paper stories on us?

It’s a bit more than that mate. GB News is explicitly set up to promote division and conspiracy theories. It’s not just a different viewpoint, it fails in its basic responsibilities as broadcast media. Bringing up Saville from decades ago is just ludicrous whataboutism. It’s understandable a...

Or just rejoin cos referenda are fucking dumb. You’d have to negotiate any rejoin deal before it could be voted on anyway. For me: rejoin as we were? Of course but never going to happen. Join the Euro and lose out veto? Lot harder to call.
