No. And he didn't get a good run playing in a 4. He was carrying an injury for much of the season end. Maybe they feel he is suiting the new system better at the moment.

He is one of best in the air and for a centre back isn't very tall. This would suggest he has a good spring. He was our stand out player beginning of last season, albeit in a back 3. He is decent on the ball.

So far in pre-season Obikwu has 3 goals and an assist. Should have had 2 assists if Sakamoto's goal v Getafe wasn't ruled out. Must be great for his confidence.
