..paid a lot of money for Delfouneso

Deflecting attention from his own teams inadequacies. He dd a similar after the game at Bescot. On a slightly related note. I wonder if the young angry blond haired yam yam was there last night. He seemed pretty upset in the queue for the train at Walsall.

All sounds a million times better than Sunday (and the dross at Notts which I had the misfortune to witness). Is it simply the case that we now carry some threat up front with WIlson returning. It must breed confidence. But, Murphy is player of the season - very reliable at this level.

Thhis is very true. I can't see how we are going to survive into next year to be honest (which I generally am)

Like the penal colony idea, but I will stay on football (ish): 1. Promotion with as many local/acadamy players as possible 2. Another promotion (rest as above) - copy Southampton in other words 3. FA Cup - one of the best days of my life (so far) - put our club on the map 4. League cup -...

    Murphy

Murphy has been player of the season. Yes, he is perhaps a shotstopper; if a very good one. Look at Schmeical tonight at Wembley, He played well, but it was purely as a shot stopper. We will Murphy if he goes

Where are where we are. We have 41 points, 6 above the drop zone. We should be thinking about ensuring safety and trying to look forward. So yes, agreed - its all about confidence and staying postive (don't mean to sound like a Chris Akabusi style motivational speaker!) PUSB mate

Clubs always first. Although disapointed that Ireland lost tonight, I would hav been way more concerned if we had lost.

    Walsall Thread

I left this thread just after the final whistle to check on the kids and make a round of celebratory toast. I come back and the usual suspects have decided to churn out the same old rubbish. Please take your petty, dullard, unfunny and charmless sqabbles elsewhere - or better still, just keep...

    Your passion for CCFC?

The emotional attachment is still there - I wish it wasn't a lot of time. In other words I still make a tit out of myself when we score (and this is when I am not there in person!). :claping hands:

    Industrial relations.

Pretty much sums up the last couple of days on here across a number of threads. Its been a pretty hard read most of the time, and on a serious note, puts me off "contributing" with all the personal battles going on.

My understanding is that it can only be singed by UK residents, so nationality doesn't come into it (I am and Irish national and signed)- you just have to live in the UK.

    Locals boosting the crowd.

Looking forward to starting next Mondays revelatory thread " Cov fans boost attendance at Kettering Town game". I'm sure that will cause ructions amongst the Poppies hardcore support.

Every word of this is true. I live in the town, and no-one gives a toss about us and very few about the Cobblers. A silly thread
