Gyokeres did really well again until the finish! He’s been really really impressive today. Who knows how good he’ll be after a year of Championship experience. We’ve been immense attacking wise all night.

As poor as he’s been defensively that attack shows the benefit of having a left footer at LCB, it allowed us to attack quickly and we should have scored.

Scrap that he just got absolutely done as if he wasn’t there.

100% agree - I was being flippant! I made the same point the other day, he’s a good little technical player, he just needs a run of games and a confidence boost. And the tactics to suit, which today will be.

Said this a lot last year, but it still stands; we look so much better when we’re playing offensively and on the front foot. Even “bomb squad” Allen is playing well.

Good attacking and high tempo start considering the “defensive” set up….. Not sure how anyone can’t rate Gyokeres. He will only get better and better.
