The club made him sound like a striker. They just said an attacking player. If he's an attacking midfielder and has scored that many goals we have got a bloody gem on our hands potentially.

Yep. He just hasn't really been getting any game time lately and seemed to have gone down the pecking order a bit, especially with Bayliss leapfrogging him, albeit them being slightly different types of midfielder.
