Which classic car would you have?

Chrysler/Talbot also produced some awful cars at the same time although they were probably controlled by management in France or the US and were maybe trying to create similar models for different markets. Could/should they have done better too?

Which classic car would you have?

Is that a worse crime than providing for it's home market the Maxi, Marina & Allegro whilst Datsun were exporting to us cars like the 100, 120, 160, 180 & 240?

Which classic car would you have?

I purposely didn't pick a Mk1 or Mk2 Jaguar as they are too obvious, as is an Aston DB6, and I was hypothetically keeping to a budget of up to £30k. Would I have a Mk1/Mk2/DB6?, too bloody right I would 😁

Which classic car would you have?

I think the E type looks are overrated and the MK1 & MK2 Jags are beautiful.

Which classic car would you have?

Gerry Marshall raced a Triplex Capri in the 70s and his main mechanic, John Westwood, lived just up the road from us. My brother went with John loads of times to watch them, I went once to Silverstone once and couldn't believe how loud the racing was.

What are you currently listening to?

I saw him at a reduced capacity NEC arena in early 90s and he was brilliant

My dad had a later model cresta & me and my 2 brothers loved it because we could all sit in the front!!

Which classic car would you have?

Which classic car would you have?

It needs totally rethinking especially as within a few years all new cars will be electric. Putting it on fuel was always the obvious choice as it taxed those that used the roads more, I am sure they will come up with another unfair way.

Which classic car would you have?

The first 3 series of Banger & Cash were filmed in 2019 & early 2020 and they sold a decent P5 for around £6k and a P6 for under £4k, they both seemed cheap to me.

Which classic car would you have?

Which classic car would you have?

Road tax is so outdated it should be scrapped & put onto petrol/diesel prices. If it is spent on road repairs my BMW F800ST clearly doesn't damage the roads as much as my volvo yet it's tax is 3 times as much.

Which classic car would you have?

They had an Alvis on an episode of Bangers & Cash, I knew little about them as it is before my time but it seemed they were very prestigious & it was a beautiful car.

Which classic car would you have?

I've had bikes since I was 16 and currently have a BMW F800ST and I will be 60 in December but as I've got older have preferred the safety, warmth and comfort of a car. If I lived in a warmer & drier country than Scotland, and England, then I think I may be tempted with an old Triumph T100/120...

Which classic car would you have?

Not even a MK 1 Lotus Cortina or Mk2 RS Escort to fit in with your boy racer image?

Which classic car would you have?

It depends as some people think that anything over 20 years is classic and over 40 is antique. I prefer over 40 years to be classic and the added bonus of cars built before 1980 is no MOT or car tax.
