Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

We could have been 3rd, but ended up 7th. I would say that is a very bad day.

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Can't see how it's his fault. Have sat next to him for a few home games and he seems a lovely chap.

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

What I don't get is that in the last two games we were scoring goals and creating chances and looked very good coming forwards. Yesterday we barely created any chances at all by all accounts.

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

Really believed this season would be different, Dave. I think if we take another dive this season and slump into mediocrity it will totally break my spirit. I keep saying that at some point we will surely find a level we can really compete at and I have been convinced this season is it. We...

Match Thread Port Vale - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Dec

Well, hate to say I told you so, but I said at the start of the season we didn't have enough cover in midfield, but a number of posters dismissed that notion and said we'd be fine. I was worried that we only had Doyle and Kelly in the middle really, with just Ben Stevenson as back up. We were...

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

Yeah, might be dramatic, but I felt devastated too. Really buggered up my Boxing Day. I was in the car with my daughter and was happily enjoying the day and listening to the match commentary, but the moment Port Vale scored I sensed we would lose and immediately switched off the radio. Changed...

    The official NFL Thread

Might be worth just skipping next season for the Skins and moving on to 2019/20 season. This is the Redskins schedule for next year. Bloody hell that's tough on paper as it stands.

    Love snow

Actually, just a word of warning to be careful out there. It's not the snow so much, but more the underlying water. Encountered a number of stretches of very large puddles this morning. Radford Road, Foleshill Road, Cash's Lane. Some were at least 3 inches deep. Guessing some drains are...

Yep, looking good and you would expect at least a 50-60 lead. Time will tell.

    Best Christmas special

Yeah, agree. Even just for the one liners. Should have ditched it after about 3 series though.

And England sitting pretty at 143/2 and Cook on 74. Still feel a collapse isn't a million miles away though.

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

Shows how sometimes just a single win or defeat can change things drastically. (Is it okay for me to use 'drastically?;))

    Are we happy

Not today I'm not. Was convinced we wouldn't lose. Wasn't expecting a win, but thought we could at least get a draw there.

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

Hence I said DAY, a devastating day. Not talking about the season or the rest of the campaign to come, I was talking about today. Thought that was pretty clear right there in the title.:) And I said 'massive' because there is a big difference between being in 3rd, IN an automatic promotion...

    Terrible Christmas Presents

Actually, I think my worst present was going out for Christmas dinner, paid for by my parents. All food choices pre-ordered over a month ago and table booked two months ago. So, get there (it's a carvery, but I am obviously vegetarian) and we pretty much immediately get our starters, only my...

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

Who has said it is? I am merely pointing out the difference today between us winning and losing I'm terms of the table and the fact that we can't keep doing this. Two wins on the bounce at home, two defeats on the bounce away.
