This is an overreaction based on 30 minutes and I don’t entirely mean it, but £4.5mil for Kitching? He is not the comfortable ball playing CB I expected, he looked ponderous.

Not read the last few pages but I’m sure the general consensus is we’ve been absolutely shite. Which is entirely fair; I am really struggling for positives. I don’t even understand our tactics or what we’re trying to do.

We have no luck with injuries. Be good to see Saka though albeit would prefer him not having to be in a position he has to defend. Palmer needs come off now - value add of zero.

Would like to see both Ayari and Saka second half. Don’t care if that’s in a box or Ayari playing CM and Saka 10, but two creative players - whether they are ready or not - are needed at some point (ideally early) in the second half.
