How many minutes before writing off a player?

I don’t recall people doubting his ability - frustrated at his two red cards - yes because we would miss him through his stupidity

And we can’t do shit about it until January - or hope that Sheaf adds a creative streak to his repertoire by November. Sheaf and Kelly/Eccles is only marginally better

I personally think we’ll win the next two games and all will be fine. but at the moment - we’ve really hashed up signing Kitching. There had to be someone out there we could have Got for 5m that could play similar to the box to box role Hamer did. We’re going to struggle with Kelly and Eccles...

The problem is we’re not getting better - we’re getting worse. It coincides with us losing our box to box midfielder and thinking Kelly and Eccles together are the answer to this

Leicester I’ll let us off - played well generally and on another day if Godden has his shooting boots on we win comfortably, but 10 mins where they had 2 shots and we lose Wimbledon - we were cruising with a pretty Much strong team, and contrived to lose Middlesbrough - if that guy didn’t...

It’s not time to time though is it. Every game this season even Middlesbrough we’ve had at least a horrendous 30 min spell. It cost us at Leicester, Wimbledon Hull and Cardiff

It’s 2 players though, we’ve bought effectively a new team with 20m - and we looked miles off the pace against a team in a transfer embargo

I think one of the other disturbing things is the lack of a second right back. 5m on Kitching when we didn’t need another CB. We needed a CM and a right back

I’d imagine with Doug’s 5 year plans he doesn’t want development players he wants ready made players for this level. unfortunately he’s been duped into thinking Haji Wright is a £7m player at least MvE looks a player

To be fair that’s exactly why he can’t drop Wright or Simms - imagine having to justify 15m sitting on the bench

It’s catch 22 - we desperately need a box to box midfielder, but you can’t trust Robins with anymore money

I’m reminded of the operation Premiership/Micky Adams season… we finally got a bit of money sold McSheffrey - and signed Leon McKenzie and Kevin Kyle - great times

I could probably name at least 10 players in the past 10 years I’d have Wright over. Let alone 140

I’d still have Haji Wright over Nick Proschwitz 2bh

Which is fine. You’re right - but we’re stuck with Kelly and Eccles in CM for 3 months. They’re not the creative midfielders we desperately need
