Difficult one, I think he is pivital to our chances of staying up. So do we let him go now and get some money or keep him for 1 more season and get nothing. To be honest I think staying up is worth more than £750,000 so I'd let him go for free next year. (Can we have paynter anyway?)

There is no way that Marlon would've even thought about us had Aidy Boothroyd not been here. I also feel he may have stayed this year but who knows! I like Andy Thorn a lot, I think that the players respect him and lets face it... who are our options. In Thorn we trust :-)

I can understand your logic in betting against cov as it is a "win/win" situation but I could never do it. Wouldn't ever want to feel happy in a cov defeat or wish for us to loose a match instead of draw it as you say above Marty. But good luck to you all the same.

The thing that I fear is that I cant see a natural position for him in the "Thorn diamond". It appears from the few games we've seen of him that he wants to be the holding player, currently occupied by clingan and can't see that changing.
